Yesterday the Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Party Secretary General Senator Shakila Abdallah received youth and new members from Mandera,Bomet,Siaya and Tharaka Nithi who promised to support his presidency with all their efforts because they believe he’s the only leader who has Kenya at heart.
All those involved in killing young Kenyans and looting people's businesses must be brought to book. We must see arrests moving forward.

STATEMENT BY THE AZIMIO LA UMOJA ONE KENYA COALITION PARTY ON THE KENYA KWANZA-LED GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL UNITY
As Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, we note that:
1. Ruto has nominated the top leadership of one of our constituent parties ODM to his Cabinet. With this move, he has attempted to destroy multiparty democracy and seize control of the Parliamentary system. Additionally, Ruto is working to silence the voices of the Opposition both inside and outside of Parliament.
2. Ruto’s continued cannibalisation of political parties, namely Jubilee and ODM goes against the letter and spirit of the Constitution of Kenya. It also offends the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) Report.
3. We believe that Ruto is an existential threat to our democracy and must be resisted.
4. Kenyans desire genuine reforms, sound leadership, and openness in the administration of public affairs. Cosmetic procedures and incompetence recycling by Ruto won't help with this.
5. We reiterate that we will neither support nor take part in the proposed Broad-Based Government of National Unity. We believe that this is the greatest betrayal of Kenyans, especially Gen Z and Millennials.
6. The 60 young Kenyans and the other 75 who were exercising their constitutional right under Article 37 to peacefully assemble, demonstrate, and picket, were shot and killed by police live bullet under the command of Nairobi Police boss Adamson Bungei. Hundreds more suffer from permanent damaged bodies as a result of police violence, including unlawful abductions and hijackings.
7. Any person joining Ruto’s regime has in effect endorsed the killing, maiming, abductions, and torture of innocent Kenyans. Let it be known that those members who have accepted the nomination to join Cabinet are doing so in their individual capacity.
8. As a coalition, we AFFIRM our commitment to stand against the injustice and the police brutality. We demand the arrest and prosecution of all the officers who shot and killed the Gen Z protesters.
9. To the young people out there, all is not lost. Let us keep hope alive and fight for what we all believe in. We ask all who are opposed to Kenya Kwanza’s bad governance, to continue standing together and firmly so because there is light at the end of the tunnel.
10. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, who has led our coalition successfully since its formation. We note that the Rt. Hon Odinga’s quest for the African Union Commission (AUC) leadership will enter a critical stage beginning next month. We all wish him luck as he prepares to take on continental duties.
11. As Azimio, we have in the meanwhile determined that H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will continue to guide the coalition as Rt. Hon Odinga’s concentrates on the AUC campaigns.
12. FINALLY, we reassure all Kenyans that we will continue to advocate for their rights. When the choice is between the People of Kenya vs the Kenya Kwanza regime, there is only one position: THE PEOPLE OF KENYA
God Bless the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition. God bless our country Kenya,
END./

AZIMIO LA UMOJA ONE KENYA COALITION PARTY RESPONSE TO THE PROPOSED KENYA KWANZA-LED BROAD-BASED GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL UNITY
As Azimio constituent parties, we held our respective National Executive Council (NEC) sessions to discuss the proposed Kenya Kwanza-led Broad-Based Government of National Unity. The Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM), Jubilee Party, DAP-Kenya Party, Party of National Unity (PNU), and Narc-Kenya, reiterate our earlier and unchanged position that:
1. We SHALL NOT participate in or support the proposed Kenya Kwanza-led Broad-Based Government of National Unity. This is a betrayal of the Kenyan people, particularly Gen Z and millennials, who have paid the ultimate price to rid this country of the disastrous Kenya Kwanza regime, their harsh taxes (Finance Bill 2023/2024), corruption, tribalism, unemployment, and the continued high cost of living.
2. We SHALL NOT join for the straightforward reason that such actions are a betrayal of the ideology, values, and tenets of both our coalition party and our constituent parties. As long as the Kenya Kwanza regime remain in place, absolutely nothing will change. A Cabinet re-organisation and changing of office holders will ONLY be cosmetic.
3. Should any of our members opt to join the proposed Kenya Kwanza-led Broad-Based Government of National Unity, we SHALL NOT be party to that decision.
4. Finally, we reiterate our PUBLIC POSTION, that when it comes to siding with Gen Z and the Kenyan people vs. The Kenya Kwanza regime, the decision is as obvious as day and night. We will ALWAYS SIDE AND STAND WITH THE PEOPLE OF KENYA.
God Bless Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party.
God Bless Kenya.
