CouponTom is changing! http://coupontombeta.com has a new layout that is easier to read on smart phones and tablets. Check out the progress as we add new features and functionality.

What's cooler than a free coupon database that uses your affiliate information? What about one that directly links to the printable coupons while using your affiliate information! CouponTom now direct link to Coupons.com coupons if you are using enlnks, mysavings or coupons.com affiliate information. We will be expanding on the affiliates and working on direct linking to other printable sites as well.

Tweaked the layout of the home page a little bit. It should be a lot more obvious that you should be setting your newspaper. Also, you no longer have to log in to see expired coupons! Let me know if you have any issues with the new layout or if there is something else you would like to see.

Maybe I am reading too much into it but when a new partner site asked me if there were other "nuggets of awesome" I wanted to point out on CouponTom I had to smile. Getting comments like is a big reason why I am always trying to improve the website. If you have any "nuggets of awesome" or things not so awesome that you think I should fix I would love to hear about them.

Calling all IE8 users! I just found a bug where some parts CouponTom were not fully working - Live search, Browse Coupons, Insert Checker. Everything should be fixed now but I would love for some other IE8 users to verify everything is working as well. Let me know in the comments. Thanks!

Frustrated when find a target coupon in the database but then have to look through several pages of coupons to find it? Be frustrated no more! When clicking on the printer icon for a target coupon, the first coupon on the page should now be the one you were looking for! If you haven't noticed already, we also do this for coupons.com, smartsource.com and redplum.com. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Potential Match? When looking at the weekly ads you may now see coupons saying "potential match". This is our attempt to automatically match up coupons. Last time we tried this our system produced too many false positives. This new system seems to be working a lot better. What do you think? What products do you usually see that should have coupons?

Wouldn't it be cool if that alternate coupon value showed up in the search results though? Now it does! If you have set your newspaper, coupon values that show up in the search results will be specific to your area.
