"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."—Martin Luther King, Jr. 🗣

15/01/2023

Powerful repost. 🥰

“My whole life I was told that Jesus Christ died because I was a sinner and it left me a forgiven sinner. Nobody ever told me that He died on the cross to restore my purpose, potential and destiny. That He actually died on the cross because He saw great value in what I could be when He lived on the inside of me. Of course He had to die because I sinned but He didn’t die because I was a sinner, He died because I was a lost son.

The cross doesn’t expose your sin, it removes your sin and exposes your potential and your value. But my whole life I was taught a sin conscious gospel that preyed on my depravity to try to get me to say “I’m sorry”.

The goodness of God leads me to change. You don’t have to come at someone’s depravity, you teach what their called to be & created to be and the goodness of God gets into you and brings change to you.”~Dan Mohler

Mind blowing 🤯 repost.

"No piece of art has ever emotionally affected me the way this robot arm piece has. It's programmed to try to contain the hydraulic fluid that’s constantly leaking out and required to keep itself running...if too much escapes, it will die so it's desperately trying to pull it back to continue to fight for another day.

Saddest part is they gave the robot the ability to do these 'happy dances' to spectators. When the project was first launched it danced around spending most of its time interacting with the crowd since it could quickly pull back the small spillage. Many years later... (as you see it now in the video) it looks tired and hopeless as there isn't enough time to dance anymore..

It now only has enough time to try to keep itself alive as the amount of leaked hydraulic fluid became unmanageable as the spill grew over time. Living its last days in a never-ending cycle between sustaining life and simultaneously bleeding out... (Figuratively and literally as its hydraulic fluid was purposefully made to look like it's actual blood).

"The robot arm finally ran out of hydraulic fluid in 2019, slowly came to a halt and died - And I am now tearing up over a friggin robot arm 😭 It was programmed to live out this fate and no matter what it did or how hard it tried, there was no escaping it.

Spectators watched as it slowly bled out until the day that it ceased to move forever. Saying that 'this resonates' doesn't even do it justice imo. Created by Sun Yuan & Peng Yu, they named the piece, 'Can't Help Myself'. What a masterpiece. What a message."

Extended interpretations: the hydraulic fluid in relation to how we kill ourselves both mentally and physically for money just in an attempt to sustain life, how the system is set up for us to fail on purpose to essentially enslave us and to steal the best years of our lives to play the game that the richest people of the world have designed.

How this robs us of our happiness, passion and our inner peace. How we are slowly drowning with more responsibilities, with more expected of us, less rewarding pay-offs and less free time to enjoy ourselves with as the years go by. How there's really no escaping the system and that we were destined at birth to follow a pretty specific path that was already laid out before us. How we can give and give and give and how easily we can be forgotten after we've gone..

How we are loved and respected when we are valuable, then one day we aren't any longer and we become a burden...and how our young, free-caring spirit gets stolen from us as we get churned out of the broken system that we are trapped inside of. Can also be seen to represent the human life cycle and the fact that none of us make it out of this world alive. But also can act as a reminder to allow yourself to heal, rest and love with all of your heart. That the endless chase for 'more' isn't necessary in finding your own inner happiness.”

To the woman and child who sat at table 9,

I did not introduce myself to you. My name is Tony Posnanski. I have been a restaurant manager for fifteen years now. My day consists of making sure my restaurant runs well. That could mean washing dishes, cooking and sometimes even serving tables. I have also dealt with every guest complaint you can imagine.

A few weeks back you came into my restaurant. I was very busy that night. I was running around helping the kitchen cook food. I was asked to talk to a table close to yours. I did and they said your child was being very loud. I heard some yelling while I was talking to that table. I heard a very loud beep from a young girl.
I started to walk to your table. You knew what I was going to ask. You saw the table I just spoke to pointing at you. I got to your table and you looked at me. You wanted the first word. You said…

“Do you know what it is like to have a child with Autism?”

You were not rude when you asked the question. In fact, you were quite sincere. Your daughter could not have been more than five years old. She was beautiful and looked scared that I was at the table. She looked like she thought she was in trouble.
In fifteen years I do not have a lot of memorable moments as a restaurant manager. I remember some guests who were mad that their burger was not the way they wanted it. I remember a woman who called corporate on me because she said I gave her a regular Coke instead of a Diet Coke. I remember having to cut people off from drinking alcohol and I remember having to tell tables to have their child be quieter.

However, I do remember everything about the day my son was born. How I cried when I heard him cry. How I stood there and told him I would do anything for him and be the best father possible. I remember the day I married my wife. How I cried and promised to be the best husband possible. I remember the day my daughter was born. I did not cry that day. I was just so relieved because I lost a child two years earlier.

I know what I was supposed to say when I went to your table. I was supposed to politely tell you to please not have your daughter yell. I was supposed to offer to move you to another area. I was supposed to offend you by not offending you…
I did not do any of that.

Instead I just told you I hoped your meal was awesome. I high fived your daughter and then I told you that your meal was on us tonight. It was only sixteen dollars. It meant more to me than that. I do not think the other guests I spoke to were happy about it. At that moment it did not matter to me.

I do not know how you reacted. I had to leave to go cook because the kitchen was not doing very good that night. When the server asked me why I bought the food I just said you did not enjoy your steak. I did not tell anyone what you said to me. I was thankful you did say it to me though.

You asked me a question that I did not answer. The truth is I do not know what it is like to have a child with Autism. I know what it is like to be a father. I know what it is like to be a husband. I know what it is like to not tell his wife how much he loves her enough. I know what it is like to want to spend more time with his children.
You asked me the question right away. You have been through this before in other restaurants. I did not want to be like other managers for one moment. I did not want to tell you what you always heard.

Honestly, I wrote this to you and your beautiful daughter because I wanted to thank you both.

You have given me a great restaurant memory. One that I needed for the last fifteen years.

You also taught me a valuable lesson…

Sometimes doing the right thing does not make everyone happy; just the people who need it the most."

Sincerely,

Tony Posnanski, Restaurant Manager

This was also our realization recently about Mr. Rogers. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

KATHRYN KUHLMAN's prayer life

When asked about her Prayer life She replied:

“I pray all the time because if I limited the Holy Spirit to a certain number of hours a day, I would be in danger of using Him for my own purpose. If, for instance, I spent one hour a day in prayer, I would expect the Holy Spirit to reward me for that hour. I would begin to feel that it was that hour in prayer that caused the “anointing” in the meeting. No, I cannot use the Holy Spirit in that way. I must practice His presence all of the time.”

Kathryn Kuhlman manifested the power of the Holy Spirit wherever she went. No matter how large or small a building was, the sinner or saint always knew when Miss Kuhlman entered the building because the whole atmosphere seemed to change. Her life was a commitment to PRAYER.

Travelling constantly, she prayed continuously. Before her meetings, her staff relates that Miss Kuhlman could be seen "pacing back and forth, head up, head down, arms flung into the air, hands clasped behind her back with her face covered in tears."

Oral Roberts succinctly tells us of the intensity of her prayers, he says:
"It was like they were talking back and forth to each other, and you couldn't tell where Kathryn started and the Holy Spirit left off. It was a oneness."

No wonder her Ministry was characterized by signs and wonders.

Every single one of us is special no matter what is going on in or alternatively, not happening in our lives.

God made each of us. Loves us and put our souls and breath in our bodies. 🙏🏼 The world we live in can be more than cruel, it can be devastating, heartbreaking, shoot…it can be evil.

But when we lift each other up, when we take action and show others kindness, we also spread His love. We change the world for the better. 🌎

We encourage you to be there for someone else today. Perhaps someone you haven’t connected with in a long time. Perhaps a stranger. Be there for someone else and make them feel how truly specially they really are. 🥰

True love motivates us to take action. 💯

How does Jesus’ love for you transform into loving others?

There are so many ways we can showcase our love in this world. 🌎

✅ Pray for others regularly. Pray for our country. Pray for our leadership. Pray for your neighbors. Pray for random people you encounter each day.

✅ Engage yourself in each moment as you interact with others. Let the to-do list go and be in the moment with your drive-thru server, cashier, waitstaff, etc. (Kat at Starbucks in Bethlehem, GA this one’s for you.)

✅ Check in with family, friends, and acquaintances. Make the phone calls…send the texts. Let them know they’re on your mind and always in your heart and prayers.

✅ Volunteer. Step up at church, your local retirement home, school, or non-profit. Help a neighbor. Be a mentor to a child or young adult.

✅ Contribute. Make a donation to a reputable charity or foundation working to make the world a better place. Become a corporate sponsor, regular donor, or contribute in-kind donations.

Let God lead your heart to take action and spread His love through you. ❤️

Every action makes a ripple that over time can be felt throughout the globe. 🥰

We hope you and yours had an ah-mazing weekend! 🥰

Today we'd love to have you join us in prayer for all of our brothers and sisters who have been in motorcycle accidents. 🏍

Lord, we ask that you comfort the families of those who have lost their lives enjoying your beautiful creations while out on 2 (or 3) wheels. Bring them the peace they need deep within their souls. 🤗 Give them the strength and courage to never forget while they move forward with their lives since You still have a purpose for them here on earth. Help them to embrace that purpose and live their lives to the fullest!

And for those who are recuperating from a motorcycle injury or still suffering from the results of an accident, may our Heavenly Father heal you. We ask for the miracle of quick recovery inside and out, Lord. 💪

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 🙏

How we began

It all started with an idea that surely came from the Lord. And as the days and years went on these ideas kept coming, and we kept jotting them down in various notebooks, in our cell phones, etc. While Mom is a marketing expert and knew how to build a website, design t-shirts and other products, and promote the business, she didn’t know how to go about it without a significant amount in startup costs.

Until one day, Mom was laid off from her Executive Marketing position that supported our family. And our lives changed. No longer could we hit a restaurant whenever we wanted to, buy clothes or shoes if we needed them, go above and beyond our grocery list when shopping, or even save for emergencies, let alone retirement.

And then it happened, a Facebook ad scrolled across Mom’s feed and it got her thinking. Maybe she finally, after 10 or more years, could start the online Christian shop she always dreamed of? She clicked for more info. She got some training on how to start the new business without a tremendous amount of capital. Mom named the business, bought the domain name, and threw herself into the desire and calling God had on her heart (and ours).

We are thankful to be a part of your family, and that you’re a part of ours. We hope we bring you joy and love through our blog posts, videos, prayers, products, and more.
