Twitter suspended its much-controversial subscription-based blue tick verification labels on Friday as many users started making fake and parody accounts after subscribing.

As the refreshed Twitter Blue subscription service went live, it allowed users to get a ‘verified’ checkmark on the microblogging site.

The launch of the Twitter Blue service was announced by Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk after he bought the company for $44 billion. The company charges $7.99 per month for the service.

Musk had said recently that asking people to pay for the new verification system was aimed at raising spammers’ costs, and that accounts abusing the new system to impersonate others would be permanently banned.

Over the past few days, several users have spotted and have been posting screenshots of tweets made by parody accounts of political leaders, celebrities and even brands. While many of these fake accounts have been suspended, new ones have been mushrooming on the microblogging site

HereAfter AI keeps track of a person’s life story instead of allowing you to have an entirely new conversation with the bot every time.

This is one of the biggest problems with most grief tech right now: it’s too generic. They may sound like someone you care about, but they don’t know anything about you. They’ll answer the same way no matter who talks to them. Every time you ask the same question, you get the same answer.
