When we pick up a Spirit of Prophecy publication, let us thank the Lord for the gift He has given us.

Father, we thank you for the master plan that you have for our lives. We ask for your forgiveness when we don’t live up to your plans for us.

This month many couples are planning to be married. Before they say “I do”, help them to be praying and asking for your guidance, Lord. Then, once they are married, help them not to “fall out of love” with each other. .

This Sabbath is “World Public Campus Ministries Day.” We need to hold our young people up in prayer as they attend school on public campuses. May our Seventh-day Adventist youth share their faith with other students.

Forgive us, Lord, when we’re impatient with family, coworkers, and others. We can choose how we respond to stress, but God will help us if we will just ask Him.

Thank you, Lord, for the promises we can claim from your Word. As we study the Bible, it will be our guide.

Lord, help us to be thankful and excited about the work you have provided for us. Let us not take for granted the talents you have given us to do this work but rather we should wish to expand them.

Lord, we pray that no matter what happens in our children’s lives, they will always know how much you love them.

When we see animals caring for each other like the geese flying in a V-formation, this should bring to our attention how God wants us to care for each other. Lord, thank you for this lesson. When we help others, we ourselves are helped and strengthened. We need each other.

Father, help us to be grateful for the blessings you have showered upon us. It is so easy to look beyond our blessings and wish for more. Please forgive us for being greedy.

This Sabbath is “Women’s Ministries Emphasis.” Lord, we pray a special blessing upon each woman, all the Marys and Marthas, for they are all different from one another.

We’ve learned from The Great Controversy that “Satan has many heresies prepared to fit the different tastes of those he wants to ruin.” Lord, please protect us from the evil one.

Father, there are prisoners that have learned about your loving forgiveness while they’ve been incarcerated. Help them to share their knowledge with others so when they leave prison, they will depend on you to guide them in the right path.
