Our troop is collecting cans all month long!
All cans will be donated to the food pantry at Hueytown First United Methodist Church!

The Girl Scouts went to a UAB football game today with the Hueytown Cub Scouts pack. The girls and their families had a great time!

The girls had fun today at our “Creepy Camp.”
We painted pumpkins, mapped our designs out, played Halloween bingo, played fun yard games, made taco salad over the fire & more!

Today our Daisy’s, Brownies & Juniors worked on their Shapes in Nature badges for their ranks.
We love getting outside & doing scavenger hunts & nature walks.
We also learned a secret Girl Scout handshake and did our first ever friendship circle 💜💜

As of 8/10/2021 masks are required for all GSNCA meetings, events and gatherings while indoors.
With the spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control, state and local health departments have recommended wearing a mask indoors in high positive infectious rate areas whether vaccinated or not. Please be personally responsible for yourself and others and wear a mask. We will continue to monitor national, state and local guidance and make modifications to our procedures as necessary.

Our Troop attended scout night at the Birmingham Barons & our girls had a blast!
We’ve got a few summer activities planned & it’s a great time to join before the fall year gets kicked off 💚💚

Day 2 of the Inside out Campout is complete and our scouts had a blast!
We made beaded jewelry, played capture the flag, had a nature walk & so much more!
Can’t wait for our actual camping trip we’re planning! 👏🏼

Another fun Girl Scout day!
We participated in a virtual cookie rally, made Christmas ornaments & wrote cards to take to our local nursing home. All apart of earning our Festival of Trees patch for this month 💚

We had a great first troop meeting yesterday!
The girls learned the Girl Scout Law & Girl Scout Promise, played some get to know you games and talked about what they want to do this year.
