36 cows have delivered 38 calves (2 sets for twins)
Most of our cows are out to grass for the summer already, we hope these last few can go out soon providing the newest arrive is bonded to there mumma 🐮🐮

It’s turn out day 🥳🐮🐮
We’ve still got a few cows to calves but today all cows are being turned out that have calves over 3 weeks old
Sometime we have to give the claves a helping hand. This little guy is one of our twins, sadly his mum is favouring his brother and so we’ve had to step in and give him some tlc 🥰🐮

We’ve been busy on the farm this week with ploughing, spraying and checking/repairing fences ready for the for the cows to go out to grass.
We’ve even had the chief water trough inspection (pip) out today making sure there all in order before we let the cows out 🚜🐮🐶

Here’s the newest cow and calf to join the maternity barn. They will be kept together in a separate pen so we can keep a close eye on them, ensuring they’re bonded and both cow and calf are health before joining the other cows and calves hopefully in a day or two
Evening check on the maternity ward, everyone quiet and content. How many new calves will we have in the morning? 🐮
