This doesn't have much to do with my linen products but this IS a very helpful hint in a different aspect of linens that I have decided to share with you all
Pillowcases: keep them inside out before laundering (this is how they come off the pillow when done the quickest way) when laundered, fold them and return them to the closet inside out and then placing them on the pillow is a snap. Simply insert your hands to the corners grab the pillow and slip it the case over the pillow and BAM! Done. So if someone puts them away inside out you can utter a "Thank you!"
Fitted sheet: match the right side corners to the right side corners hamburger fold then match these fitted corners again. Square up your fold and fold down to side. Now when place on the mattress you need NOT open all the way and fumble about. Simple unfold to the first fold, place the corner over the mattress ( you folded right sides together so now the open side is the side you want towards the mattress👐🏽👏🏽) and proceed on placing sheet corners around the mattress
Fitted sheet: Yes there is a right way. There is.infact a right side and wrong side and the right side should be placed together to the right side of the Fitted sheet (you are now sleeping between the softest side of both sheets AND no hem towards you when you are under the sheet. So, when folding, fold WRONG sides together (hamburger fold first) then match fold ACROSS the ends of the sheet BOTTOM end to the inside of the fold. And then proceed to desired size. Now when placing on the mattress simply unfold to the 2nd to last fold, place top end at top end of bed using the quarter corner to guide sheet placement (it should be in center of the bed) unfold following the folds. Is a visual necessary? I can post followups to that next week.
