Rebonding is a chemical process done in salons wherein your hair’s natural structure is altered with chemicals and heat to give you straight hair. This technique is all about breaking your hair’s natural bonds and rearranging them to make up a new hair texture – straight, sleek, and shiny.
So regardless of how curly, wavy, unruly, or frizzy your hair is, hair rebonding can actually make a difference by giving you pin-straight hair! Keep in mind that rebonding is a long process – it can take between 3 to 8 hours, depending on the length and texture of your hair. Although 3 to 8 hours of sitting and waiting in the salon is very much worth it if you get permanent straight hair for the next 6 to 8 months - possibly even longer (depending on your aftercare)!
