Our Cabernet Franc grapes are entering “veraison,” which is the stage during which the grapes change from green to purple in preparation of making us some fine red wine! 🍷

This change in color also is when the grapes stop growing and start ripening, building sugars and changing acid composition as we push them to perfection!

Cabernet Franc is the parent grape of Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon Blanc. It is one of the 5 famed red “Bordeaux Varietals.” It grows in a loose cluster with small berries, producing high quality fruit and outstanding wine!
