Randall Elementary School is part of Taylor School District.
Another fun filled day at Randall. As always our PTO put on an amazing Funday. With it ending in two human hotdogs. Poor Kyle Wright - Taylor School Board Secretary and Ms Meszaros has not learned to tell our PTO no when they say they have a great idea. Itโs a great way to end the year. We even had two tiny special guest crashing the party.
Shhhโฆdonโt tell the Taylor School District board office. We have our Superintendent, Mike Wegher, taped to the lunch room wall. Way to go Randall families for meeting our goals for the color run.
The fun never stops here! Today, our students had an absolute blast at the Glow Party, filled with singing, dancing, and unforgettable moments. A huge thank you to our incredible PTO mom, Kelly Chapman, for hosting this fantastic event. Special shoutout to Ms. Kim Mayle for her amazing dance movesโthey really lit up the dance floor! This morning, our amazing fifth graders participated in the Fifth Grade Track Meet, and they truly shined! Special congratulations to Holland for taking first place and us for securing second overall. We are incredibly proud of all our students and their fantastic performances.
A huge thank you to our dedicated gym teachers for organizing and running the event flawlessly. We also appreciate the support from the Taylor Athletic Director, who came out to cheer on our young athletes. And, of course, a big shoutout to all the fifth-grade parents for their enthusiastic encouragement and to our wonderful fifth-grade teachers and students for supporting the Randall track team.
We can't wait to see what next year bringsโHolland watch out; we're coming for the top spot!
Today was an exciting day as our Third Graders showcased their incredible Michigan Made projects! The creativity and hard work on display were truly inspiring. From delicious local treats to amazing items, you couldn't leave without feeling both hungry and ready for a shopping spree!

Yesterday's Watch party was a blast. Thanks to Wayne RESA's AREN project in collaboration with NASA all our student had the opportunity to ob serve the Solar Eclipse. Thank you to our amazing teachers for all fun Solar Eclipse activities you did with students. Stay tuned for even more activities completed over the last couple of days.
Solar Eclipse fun is well underway at Randall. Our classes are participating in a Goosechase. A Goosechase is inspired by scavenger hunts, it is an online platform that helps you create interactive experiences. This specific task was to have Solar Eclipse inspired Dance party. Mrs. Cahalan's class rocked the dance party.

๐ It was such a joy to have Mrs. Patt's back with us, sharing her love for reading with some of our classes. Nothing beats a good story shared with friends!
โ๏ธ And who says an Easter egg hunt can't happen in the snow? Mrs. Shaffer's class had a blast hunting for eggs outdoors, turning our snowy landscape into a winter wonderland adventure!

Tonight โs adventures took him to his first School Board meeting! Our Board recognized Randall, our PTO, and families for working together to make our Color Run amazing!

Randall families as we say goodbye for the summer, our staff wanted to share a heartfelt thank you to our students and families for a wonderful year. If you will be missing us much as we will miss you, we have some fun ways to stay connected!
Students received their first copy of Kids First Now summer reading books. Parents please check the information sent home on how to connect to the Kids Read Now program and update your childโs progress so Randall takes the win for the most reading this summer.
Students also received a copy of Flat Stanley as a follow up to our March Is Reading Month activities with a bonus book of the Borrowers.
And donโt forget just like Flat Stanley goes on journeys, take our Mustang Tall and Strong along on your summer adventures. Be sure to take pictures and share them using the hashtag . Then follow our school page to see if your picture is shared out for all to see.
