A special thanksgiving service was on Monday, held at the Government House Chapel, Asaba, to celebrate the victory of the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori at the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division.

Oborevwori had approached the Court of Appeal praying the appellate court to set aside the judgment of the lower court which nullified his governorship candidacy of the PDP in the state.

The thanksgiving service was attended by the wife of the state Governor, Dame Edith Okowa, members of the state executive council, chieftains of the PDP in the state, members of the State House of Assembly and supporters of the party (PDP) among others.

Delta Speaker, Oborevwori, Harps On Unity As State Celebrates 31st Anniversary Of Creation

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, has tasked Deltans and residents on unity and peace as the state marks the 31st anniversary of its creation.

The Speaker who is also the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State legislatures of Nigeria, stressed the need for unity among the people for sustainable development of the State.

In a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dennis Otu, the Speaker who pulled 590 votes to emerge the Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate in the Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 gubernatorial primaries in the State, noted that Deltans can actually achieve a lot when they are united, recognising the fact that people could share different political interests notwithstanding.

He said that at 31, Delta State has achieved much since its creation as envisioned by past governors being it military or civilian and particularly expressed delight with the current administration of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in building on the solid foundation laid by successive governments.

According to him, "Governor Okowa-led administration has done exceedingly well, given the resources available to move the state forward in all indices of development."

The Speaker further stated that the state has evolved through different stages of growth since creation and remains one of Nigeria's most important states and envy of other states in the country.

Rt Hon Oborevwori used the opportunity of the 31st anniversary celebration of the state to preach love among the Polical class, saying that: "As we mark our 31st anniversary, I want to urge the political class that we should wrap ourselves in the garment of unity, peace and love". He cautioned that the positive interest for the development of the State should be paramount at all times.

While also saying that there is a bright future for the state, Deltans and all residents, the Speaker rejoiced with the government and people of Delta State on the special occasion of the anniversary of the state creation.

The Speaker called on Deltans to key into the policies and programmes of the Okowa's administration for sustainable development of the State.

OBOREVWORI v EDEVBIE: REJOINDER TO THE “FORENSIC REPORT” CONDUCTED BY APEX FORENSIC NIGERIA LIMITED
.. DSP Udenze (Rtd) Not A Trained, Certified Facial Image Comparison Expert.

A forensic report conducted by Apex Forensic Nigeria Limited has been widely circulated on social media. The report is the latest in a series of publicity stunts aimed at discrediting the candidature and good reputation of the Rt. Honourable Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori.

Opponents of Oborevwori would like to con his supporters and unsuspecting members of the public into believing unfounded allegations of identity theft. However, a closer examination of the report exposes it as an unreliable document prepared by a “hired gun”. It is neither independent nor credible and should be disregarded in its entirety. We draw the attention of independent thinking members of the public to the following.

Equipment:

Any IT hardware and software used for the viewing, processing, and analysing of imagery for a Facial Image Comparison must be fit for purpose and validated for its intended use. At the barest minimum, this validation should state if the process results in any visual loss of quality to the displayed or outputted imagery and if this loss impacts the subsequent examination and comparison. It is this information that gives the process credibility.

The report states that the analyst used a QDX630B Spectral Comparator and Highly Illuminating F OX VM Multimedia Computers and other Scientific Apparatus. Therefore, we urge members of the public to do a simple internet search to research the use of the listed equipment.

Firstly, a Spectral Comparator is not intended to be used for a Facial Image Comparison. Instead, it is used to detect imperfections in documents. It does so by using electromagnetic wavelengths and various filters to differentiate inks and reveal hidden material on documents.

Secondly, the term “Highly Illuminating F OX VM Multimedia Computer” is meaningless without specifying the hardware and software used in the apparent “forensic analysis”.

Thirdly, what other “Scientific Apparatus” did the examiner used? He did not specify it because he has not deployed any specifically designed equipment for a facial image comparison. The whole exercise is arbitrary and a sham. It is designed not to project the truth but to embarrass a candidate that the opposition fears and to deceive members of the public.

Examiner’s expertise:

The examiner, Chief Reginald Udunze, describes himself as a forensic document examiner/handwriting expert. While he may be accomplished in his field of training, there is a vast difference between a forensic document examiner and a facial image comparison expert.

The examination of documents includes detecting alterations and obliterations, analysis of paper, detection and examination of forgery, origin, determining authenticity, and others. Members of the public should note that the examiner, Chief Udunze, does not say that any documents he examined were forged. However, with the greatest respect, Chief Udunze’s qualification as a forensic document examiner does not make him a facial image comparison expert.

Facial image comparison experts compare images of unfamiliar faces (i.e., faces not known to them) and decide whether or not they show the same person. Given the importance of these decisions for national security and criminal investigations, practitioners attend training courses to improve their face identification ability.

Questionable technique:

The “forensic examination” starts on the incorrect premise by presuming that the reference imagery was each taken at the same time, at the same angle and distance and of the same image quality. These factors can significantly affect the comparison.

The examiner did not use original photographs, but images submitted by Oborevwori’s opponents. He did not analyse whether these images were altered in any way.

Additionally, a significant amount of time elapsed between the photographs in question. The first was taken in about 1999. The second photograph was taken 15 years later, in about 2014. Finally, the third photograph was taken in about 2018, 4 years after the second photograph and 19 years after the first photograph.

As individuals grow and age, facial features can change significantly. The examiner does not account for this factor. The following are common features of adult ageing:

Hair loss and changes in hair pigmentation
Sagging of soft tissue Increased number and depth of facial lines at areas of repeated muscle use and facial fat pad junctures
Density of fatty tissue under and descent of facial fat pads

A significant amount of time between the images can limit the use of a facial image comparison. The examiner’s current conclusions are unreliable as facial features change naturally with age. Therefore, the examiner should have (but failed to) call for additional imagery within a closer age range.

Also, the first image submitted to the examiner was of significantly low quality, resulting in limited or, at worst, unreliable findings. The examiner did not perform an image quality analysis on any of the submitted photographs to determine:

Pixel resolution of the face as determined by the overall resolution of the image and the distance of the subject from the camera

The lighting conditions of the image and the impact this has on the visibility of features and the degree of contrast between different features

Blur within the image causing a potentially irrecoverable loss of detail

Geometric distortions such as lens barrelling that may distort the appearance of facial features

If the angle of the camera is causing occlusion of facial features

If other factors such as clothing or physical obstruction are occluding facial features

No independent verification of the exercise:

The fallout from the Delta State Governorship primary elections has been the subject of intense media scrutiny. For this reason, the examiner should not be exposed to imagery before conducting their comparison to minimise possible sources of bias, such as confirmation bias. This is why independent verification is key and accords with international best practices.

A second independent examiner should repeat the entire facial image comparison process to verify the result. There should have been a blind verification by the second examiner without knowing the conclusion of the first examiner. This prevents confirmation bias and preserves the integrity of the process.

There was absolutely no verification in this case.

For the avoidance of doubt, Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori has never submitted any false documents as alleged or at all. He has not stolen any person’s identity as alleged or at all – indeed, none of Oborevwori has brought forward the person they identify as the genuine holder of the identity. The reason for this failure is simple. All the photographs shown in the examination are of Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori.

It is curious that a document apparently addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Guzape District FCT Abuja, has found its way to WhatsApp and Facebook, instead of the intended recipient.

Equally curious is how a complaint of events allegedly occurring in Delta State has found its way to Guzape District FCT Abuja. Opponents of Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori should test their popularity at the polling booth, not on social media pages.

Remain Sheriffied.

Expect M.O.R E from 2023 to 2031.

DELTA 2023: THEY ARE RUNNING FROM PILLAR TO POST TO JUSTIFY THEIR BLACKMAILS WITH BLACK MARKET REPORT

QUACK FORENSIC REPORT IN CIRCULATION CONCERNING RT. HON. OBOREVWORI SHERIFF FRANCIS OROHWEDOR; ANOTHER HATCHET JOB BY POLITICAL DESPERADOS.

Emissaries of confusion who do not wish Delta State and Deltans good are at it again! Despite the fact that there is an appeal pending before Court of Appeal, Abuja, wherein judgement have been reserved by the Appealate Court, political Desperados and hirelings are still in the acts of concocting falsehood and saturating media space, with the intention of deceiving gullible members of the public of what only exist in their imagination!

My attention has been drawn to a fake and quack forensic report credited to one Chief Reginald Udunze DSP (Rtd) concerning Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor. Unfortunately, some persons who have sold their journalistic souls to mammons are gleefully circulating the putrid report without verifying its contents!

My first reaction is that members of the public should ignore this ignoble and fallacious report; as same is another desperate attempt by disgruntled elements who are looking for every possible means to tarnish the reputation of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor. It is important to state from the onset that the said forensic report is not only fake but procured at a cost by willing stooges, paid to carry out this assignment.

The issue relating to the authenticity of the certificates presented by Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor to INEC and PDP towards the 2023 Governorship Election is presently a subject-matter in a pending appeal before the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division. The appeal was argued on the 19th of August, 2022, and reserved for judgement to a later date. As such, it would be inappropriate to make any comment that may prejudiced the outcome of the appeal.

On the fake forensic report, it is laughable to note the conclusion of the so-called forensic expert that the two pictures analyzed do not belong to the same person; holding that Francis Oborevwori is not the same person as Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor!
The question discerning members of the public should ask is whether the so-called expert was able to bring out any other identity in the course of his investigation, apart from that of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor.

It should be noted that the Police and other security agencies have thoroughly investigated this matter and confirmed from the relevant Institutions that the certificates in question are not only genuine but were issued to Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor. In addition, some of the classmates who attended the same Institutions with Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor at different times have come out to confirm the fact that Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor attended the said Institutions and obtained those certificates after passing the relevant examinations.

The Supreme Court has consistently posited in plethora of authorities that in order to determine the authenticity and/ or genuineness of certificates issued by Institutions, the best and conclusive evidence on this point is a confirmation or denial from those Institutions.

With the confirmations from the various Institutions as to the genuineness and authenticity of those certificates, i urge Deltans and/ or members of the general public to disregard those fake forensic reports in circulation, having not emanated from proper Institutions or Authorities.

The general public and teaming supporters of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor should disregard the fake documents in circulation and await the pronouncement of the judiciary which is the final authority on this issue.

Oborevwori Certificates Are Authentic And Genuine, Security Agencies Verify....

Attempt to investigate his certificates..team of operatives confirm authenticity of Speaker's certificates as Appeal Court in Abuja hears appeal.

As the Appeal Court in Abuja prepares to begin hearing the appeal filed against the disqualification of Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, the winner of the Delta State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) guber primaries, his opponents have taken the certificates matter a notch higher.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the opponents of Chief Oborevwori have invited the Police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to step into the matter.

Already, they have sent letters and visited all the schools which the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly claimed in his nomination forms to have attended.

TNG’s investigations, however, have shown that all the schools have confirmed that indeed Oborevwori was their student.

Both the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and Delta State University, Abraka, where he did his undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Political Science, have written the two security organisations confirming that he graduated with second class upper (2:1) at the BSc level and an MSc in the same field.

Both schools also confirmed that the certificates they issued to him bore Sheriff Francis Oborevwori (Ekpoma) and Sheriff Francis O. Oborevwori (DELSU).

On the issue of the name Sheriff not being in his primary and secondary school certificates, the schools also attested to a change of name affidavit and its publication in the Observer newspapers edition of 30th January 2004.

Also, the then Principal of Oghareki Grammar School, Mr Jacob Akpodiogaga, where the Delta State House of Assembly Speaker re-enrolled for his WASC examination as an external student, when contacted also confirmed that the embattled Speaker was indeed one of those who wrote the WAEC examination in the 1998/99 session.

Recall that Oborevwori’s classmates both in secondary and primary schools had earlier confirmed that the Delta State Speaker was their classmate and those who attended Ambrose Ali University and the Delta State University recently openly said they were his classmate.

One of his classmates, Chief Mrs Rasheeda Egbedi vividly recalls their university days at Ekpoma in an interview, giving a clear description of the Speaker.

TNG recalls that the PDP guber primaries which the Delta Speaker convincingly won have been a subject of litigation over an alleged certificate scam.

Also recall that last July, the court, in a judgement that was delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo, held that Oborevwori lacked the legal competence to participate in the elections.

The verdict followed a suit that was brought before the court by an aggrieved member of the party, Olorogun Edevbie.

The Court of Appeal, has fixed judgement for a date that will be communicated to all parties, but earlier than September 5th, 2022.

Late yesterday evening, Thursday 18th August, 2022, there is a purported fake news from the pit of hell, that PDP and INEC have bowed to pressure over Delta State Governorship matter, that is awaiting trial at the Court of Appeal, Abuja.

APPEAL COURT CASE AND WHY RT HON SHERIFF FRANCIS OBOREVWORI CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED

By Sanco Ese

I believe in equity , I detest any form of marginalisation, subjugation and domination and as long as I live I will continue to fight against it anywhere I see it.

We have been in the forefront of the struggle for OSU federal constituency to produce the next Governor of this state base on equity and because God assured us it is our turn we will never back down on it .that is a given.

It is because I know and say these things that some of them hate me so much and will do anything to stop, silence, discredit, destroy or even kill me.

Yet I know that I cannot die before my time or before my work on earth is done and neither can I be destroyed because I am covered by the blood of Jesus.

If you remember nothing else at least remember it has always been my position that we the people of OSU federal constituency feel marginalized, oppressed, despised by other constituencies within Delta central senatorial district.

we are regarded as nothing but chattel and slaves who are born to be ruled and not to rule .

Daily, We feel the pains of thier consistent humiliation , subjugation and political domination. Yet no matter how dark the night ,joy comes in the morning.

We are a Royal priesthood, a holy nation and, at the appointed time, we shall have the fat of the land, we shall rule over the Amalekites and the uncircumcised Phillistines and we shall prevail.

Today our son Rt Hon Francis sheriff Oborevwori will commence his defense at the appeal court and it is our consistent conviction that he shall prevail because the word of God and his assurances is Yes and Amen . It can never be aborted. An OSU man has been divinely ordained to be the Governor of this state come 2023.

Our hope, strength and confidence is derived from the lord of host.He is He who overcame satan, death and the principalities and powers, who rose again, who ascended into Heaven and who sits at the right hand of God the Father.

He is He that is awesome in battle, that no man can stand against. He is He who reigns supreme and before whom all other gods bow.

He is the Spoiler of our Enemies, our Advocate, our Defender, our Deliverer and our Judge. He is the husband of the widow and the father of the fatherless. He is the helper of the helpless and the defender of the oppressed. He is the voice of the voiceless and the healer of the sick. He is the deliverer of the captives, the provider for the needy and the glory of Kings.

No matter the outcome of today's proceedings be rest assured that the Egyptians you see today you shall see them no more.

My name is

BREAKING NEWS....,

2023: Oborevwori v Edevbie, Appeal Court Orders Substituted Service On Respondent
..PDP Appeal Supporting Oborevwori's Candidacy Heard Today.

By Fred Latimore Ohenesivbe Esq

Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, has ordered substituted service on Olorogun David Edevbie, who has been evading Court service.

The Appellate Court on Monday 1st August, granted the Appellant's motion for substituted service and adjourned to 8th August, so as to enable Counsel to the Appellant and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta Stage, Ekeme Ohwovoriole, SAN, to file and move motion to abridge time and accelerate the hearing of the Appeal.

Subsequently, the Court ordered the bailiff to serve all the processes on Edevbie, tomorrow, 2nd August 2022, at his last known residence in Afiesere Community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.

In the same vein, the Appeal filed by PDP challenging the ruling and orders of Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, also came up today.

PDP is insisting via the Appeal that it conducted a valid governorship primary wherein Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori emerged Guber candidate and was validly nominated. Both appeals came up today, 1st August, 2022.

Ekeme Ohwovoriole, SAN and Kehinde Ogunwumiju, SAN appeared for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, the validly nominated candidate of Delta PDP, as rightly held last week by Justice Okon Abang of Federal High Court sitting in Warri.

It fellows that all parties in the matter has to maintain status quo pending Appeal and Stay of ex*****on of the Federal High Court Judgment.

Edevbie can no loner be unnecessarily desperate. He has to go through the entire legal process up to the Supreme Court, if the need arises.

PDP insisted that Edevbie was not and cannot be the Guber candidate of Delta PDP; and maintained that, Rt Hon Oborevwori, an astute politician with astonishing popularity to win in 2023, is the Guber
