In order for these suits to be here for our first meet, suits MUST BE ORDERED from this website no later than November 18th. After that time, they will need to be ordered from SwimOutlet.

(Team suits are NOT required. Any plain colored, modest suit with NO logo [other than small brand logo] may be worn to compete.)

ALL SWIMMERS MUST see Coach Flynn in the cafeteria/gym during lunch on Wednesday, November 9th to get an orange wristband. This wristband notifies coaches that you have turned in your physical. Swimmers without physicals/wristbands CANNOT participate until they have turned in this form. SET AN ALARM on your phone to remind you to go get your wristband so you can participate.

Tryouts start tomorrow!!!

There WILL be an activity bus to take those swimmers that need a ride over to the Rouse Center. It will be leaving the bus ramp at 1:55pm so please be out there NO LATER than 1:50pm.

Mark Your Calendars - NSHS Swim Tryouts - Wednesday Nov 9th and Thursday Nov 10th. Please talk to Coach Lawson if you are not able to attend tryouts on these dates.

Bus leaves the bus ramp at 1:55pm if you need a ride. Talk with Coach Lawson about being excused early from class.

Pre-season practice starts today!! 3:45pm-4:45pm is splash time. It is advised to arrive by 3:15pm to have enough time to prepare for the workout. Must provide own transportation. Bring a suit, towel, goggles, and water bottle. Physicals MUST be turned in before you can enter the pool.

Our next Swim Meet will be held on Friday, December 17th vs Massaponax HS at the Spotsylvania YMCA. This is an AWAY meet for us. Swimmers should plan on reporting to the NSHS Bus Ramp at 5:15pm to baord the bus to the meet. (Bus SSB 302)

As a reminder, all swimmers are required to have a volunteer at at least THREE meets this year. Volunteer sign-ups are now open. Please be sure to sign-up for a slot ASAP. It’s the LAST DAY for our Team Suit and Spirit store. Orders MUST be placed by Wednesday, Nov 17th at 9:00pm. Minimum order of 12 items for each Spirit Item. Please consider supporting the swim team. Great for gifts!!

Here is the 2021-2022 Team Swim Suit

Confirmed: All Swimmers will be released at 3:25. Those needing transportation, please report to the bus ramp. Coach Lawson will stand next to the bus to board. Please send him your 4th block teacher’s name at your earliest convenience. Drivers and those getting rides proceed to the Rouse Center.

Tryouts will run from Monday, November 8th through Wednesday, November 10th. Regular season practice will start Monday, November 15th. Coaches will notify swimmers as soon as possible. Team size is limited this year due to VHSL and Covid guidelines.

Swimmers traveling to the Rouse Center on their own should plan on arriving at the pool not later than 3:45pm. Swimmers riding the bus should report to the bus ramp (more info coming soon). "Splash time" is 4:00pm so this is a VERY quick turn around. Swimmers need to change and head out to the pool as soon as possible.
