Letβs talk about the lash cycle! β¨ ββββββββ

Did you know that on average we have around 90-150 natural lashes and it is normal to shed 1-5 natural lashes each day? ββββββββ

Many people are unaware that each of our natural lashes goes through three distinct stages of growing, then transitioning and then finally resting. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Anagen: This is the first stage when your lashes are growing. This phase will usually last around 30-45 days. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Catagen: This is the stage where the hair follicle starts to shrink and slows growth down significantly. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Telogen: This is the final and longest stage of the lash cycle which lasts up to 100 days. The eyelash will start to fall out and it will take 4-8 weeks for another to grow in its place. ββββββββ

So before you freak out about all those little lashes you find scattered around the bathroom, just know that this is a completely normal process and this is why it is important to come back for your refills on time to keep your lashes thick and fluffy! π€
