Well it’s about damn time….

Phew… summer seems to have well and truly arrived along with some mighty thunderstorms to boot ⛈️but I’m not complaining…..if the suns out I’m out is my mantra and I will soak up every inch of vitamin D I possibly can until we say goodbye to each other come autumn or in the UK’s case next week who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

Picky bits in the garden or barbecuing on a Wednesday, rules go out of the window and the oven is needed no longer 🙌🏻
Mr Birdhouse dons his apron sticks a sausage on the barbie and thinks he’s a Michelin star chef in the making 🤦🏼‍♀️ having watched every episode of Masterchef he’s still non the wiser to this cooking lark but I encourage not discourage any night off is a night off right 🤷🏼‍♀️

New Gifting Range 🎁

It was always my intention early on to expand the gifting section within The Birdhouse.. and it’s taken me slightly longer than I’d hoped but hey better late than never 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I source what I sell I do so with me in mind, as first rule of thumb is you are your own ideal customer… everything I sell I would personally have in my own home, wear or gift and I try to be as eco conscious as I can be with what I source.. I’m not perfect but I try like we all do 🌱

Well Mr Birdhouse has surpassed himself with this one .. I’m in potting bench heaven.. and all made for a total of £30 using leftover timber and an off cut of worktop he salvaged from his neighbours at work, sealed with Osmo stain which was our only outlay… he’s an absolute legend (but dont tell him I said that) Now if the weather could behave so I could actually use the bloomin thing that would be too notch 👌🏻

Well it’s been a minute…..

I know I know there’s nothing more annoying than seeing something you love and it’s out of stock and no sign of it being re-stocked … these trays were my best seller last year and there’s a reason why ..they are fantastic quality and that’s the reason quite a few of us small businesses stock them.

Spring has sprung (almost)

Time to get the card machine out of hibernation, dust off my gazebo and actually do a full days work ( Mr Birdhouse’s words not mine 😉)
