𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫

“I don’t know how to speak; I am too young." That’s the reply Jeremiah gave to God when he sent him to deliver a message to the nation of Isreal.

So many of us young people are like Jeremiah. We keep finding reasons for not doing what we know in our hearts God has called us to do.

“I am too short,” “I don’t think I am ready yet,” “I cannot quote bible verses,” “My voice isn’t good enough,” “I don’t think anyone will listen,“ “I am this, I am that” the excuses are endless.

Yes, God called Jeremiah at a very young age. He had his fears, doubts, and insecurities.

Most likely, he was an extremely shy guy who cringed at the very thought of addressing a crowd. As a human, Jeremiah considered himself unfit for the call. He didn’t possess the required skills and talents.

The same thing happened to me a few years back. When God called me to start my youth outreach ministry, I was very young and unprepared for such dimensions of ministry.

I didn’t know what the first meeting was supposed to look like. I was clueless about so many things.

What would we include in the event program? Would people turn out? What would people say?

Amidst all of this bugging questions, I said YES to God. “I’ll do it anyway”–I told him. So I stepped out.

Dear called youth, just say YES to God’s call first. Leave the details for later.

If I wanted to figure out all the details of my assignment, I would never have stepped out.

What God wants is a Yes from you. Take a step forward, trust him like a child, and let him handle the details.

God has carried us on his wings into the month of November. We are grateful for life and health.

We praise him for his marvelous works in our lives. Happy new month to you all.

God's love is UNFAILING. He will never give up on you!

People are busy chasing after shadows and vanities in the name of success.

Material possessions are good but there are not true test of success. Any body can cheat their way up.

The truth is that God reserves the sole right to pronounce a person as either successful or unsuccessful.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫.

So what then is true success?

a fountain is the originating source of anything.

This fountain determines whether the waters of your life will be bitter or sweet.

So why do you need to guard your heart?

It takes the form and assumes the character of whatever you feed it with or allow access to.

If you feed your heart with negativity,then it becomes filled and saturated with negativity, and you'll end up with a negative life.

The mind has such immense power.

If you don't like the path or direction your life is tending towards, you can wield the power of your mind and redirect yourself to a desirable direction.

Satan the enemy is the masterminder of the battles in our mind.

His goal is to control and capture us through our thoughts.

𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞,𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝.

Once he wins you in the mind,the rest is a walk over.

But why is Satan so interested in your mind?

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝.

A negative mindset effortlessly produces a negative life. Success and failure, abundance and scarcity, victory and defeat,all of these first begin in the mind.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭

To many people, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is a big word. So let's break it down.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞. Which means to persuade,assure or cause someone to believe firmly in the truth of something.

Our text says the Holy Spirit convinces or assures us in our spirit about the truth.

A good example of this is when you got born again.

After saying the salvation prayer,you had an inner peace and assurance that your sins were forgiven and that you had become a child of God.

You were so sure of it and no one could tell you otherwise.

Have you ever stopped for once to ask yourself what made you so certain about your salvation. Certainty,it had nothing to do with anything physical

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝

However that is not the only thing he assures or convinces us about.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞. 𝐇𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫, 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬.

Next time you think about doing something or you are torn between two choices, spend some time praying and also listen inwards.

When you do that, the Holy Spirit will assure you and convince you of the right step to take.

You will not be able to explain it, but you will realise after some time that you are so certain and sure of what to do!

Hallelujah, that's the spirit at work in you.
