Three New Color Recipes hitting the shop very soon!
If you didn’t see my stories yesterday, our home was hit by a F1 tornado Tuesday night so I’m a few days behind on the jack update but we’re all safe! We have a lot of roof, fence and tree damage but other than that we’re good! My goal is to have these three color recipes ready and current mini skein boxes shipped tomorrow but I’ll keep you posted!!

Mini Set boxes are live! And since I can’t show you the exact colors yet, here’s a fall set that I made a few years ago that I’m still kicking myself for not writing down all the details of the recipe cause I still love it and didn’t keep one for myself 😆
You better believe I’m not making the same mistake with this box! I already casted on a pair of Halloween socks that I’m dying to show you guys!

Mini Set Project Idea no.1

So this is NOT made using the jack set (just want to clarify that up front so you know I’m not spoiling anything) but YOU definitely could! I particularly love dk weight projects for mini sets because I like mixing two different colors together for each section (AB, BC, CD, etc) which is exactly what I did for this purse and I love the tapestry like effect it gives it. I used some minis from my main character set I did a long while back and also some random minis that I just winged to show you similar grungy spooky vibes as jack. This is definitely my favorite project that I have ever made and once I get the lining sewed in (I HIGHLY recommend getting the liner, chain, and clasp thingy from petite knit) then I’m going to be wearing this every freakin day!

Going back into dyeing full time and narrowing my focus I knew immediately that I wanted to do mini sets. I love making them, the creativity that comes with working them into a project big or small, the idea of unwrapping each one as though it’s a daily treat, picking out pretty packaging, they’re just the best! And this collection is shaping out to be one of my best ever, it’s inspired by grungy gothy pumpkins, vintage Halloween vibes (think the movie Halloween), and creepy pumpkin scarecrows. The palette features mostly blacks, neutrals, and pumpkin oranges with the middle skein being a fun pop of color that somehow just works and adds that extra oomph and makes the set really unique.
There will only be 19 boxes available (ready to ship) and they hit the shop July 15th at noon (central). The box will feature 7 surprise minis (price tbd) that are individually wrapped (plastic free packaging!!). I can’t wait to show you guys some project ideas and more fun ideas that are rolling around in my brain (project sharing discord anyone 🤩)

Here is the first (also yet to be named) handpainted colorway in the Cottagecore collection! If you love teal and love a little oomph that a handpainted colorway gives then this color is definitely for you!
Hints of purples and pinks gives this colorway some definition and femininity without being overwhelming and I can’t wait to show you guys my project that I’m making with it plus one of the other colorways
So what do you think?!? And what should I name it! I’m drawing a blank, I was almost thinking something in the direction of a robins egg but I’m not sure. Any suggestions def appreciated!

I’ve barely taken this sweater off since it came off the needles! The pattern is by .knitwear but I modified it quite a bit. First, since I knit extremely loosely, I used sock weight yarn held together with mohair. I went shorter on the body, only did 5 decreases on the sleeves, and did a mock neck instead of a turtleneck (and went four sizes down on the needle for the neck instead of two). Yarn colorway is Espresso and mohair just arrived so that should be in the shop sometime next week!
