Waxing hair does in fact causes your hair to come in thinner for multiple reasons.
Waxing essentially is pulling hair from the root, so each time that you pull it out from the root, it's going to make the hair thinner by damaging the hair papilla
Shaving causes a blunt cut to the hair shaft. Hair will continue to grow out from the thickest part because the soft tapered start never has the opportunity to come back.

Tips to growing out brows for a new shape
1. Stick with one brow artist
2. Get brows waxed ever 6 weeks vs ever 3-4 weeks (we’re training the hairs to stay)
3. Use a brow oil daily
4. Be comfortable with the growing out stage
5. Don’t tweeze between appointments
