Had to get this fascia board custom milled @ 2” x 13” in order to cover the barge rafter and parapet wall on top of it. The material is locally sourced redwood milled in Happy Valley.

Here’s another stain grade stair rail we (the royal we) did a while back for some dear friends. This here is made of vertical grain Douglas Fir. Somewhat finicky to work with but still one of my favorites to look at.

Stair rails cast cool shadows depending on w’here you put the lights. Challenging to build but you ultimately satisfying to experience the progress. 🥳

I find it hard to tell an accurate story through social media. Quite honestly we’ve been so busy its left me little to no energy to even try. I mostly just sit back and watch others. Sometimes I give praise and other times I judge. Not my fualt. As much as I’d love to participate, the perfectionist in tells me “it wont do it justice”. It hardly ever does. I would like to put more effort into telling these stories because I feel that they are important. Hopefully inspire someone to do something cool or learn something new. That being said here are some recent jobs we’ve been on. Most of the work is ours, but all of the work is a collective effort with many skillful hands and minds coming together to get the job done. Always an adventure and never perfect. Keeps us coming back for more and growing every day. I’m personally thankful for what we get to do and the spaces, we get to make special and I like the thought of others enjoying those spaces we helped to create.
