HMS Girls Golf

Season ended for us today at the regional finals where we played at Spring Valley in Livermore. My heart is full of pride on how these ladies handled themselves and worked so hard to compete.
Can’t say enough about the positive character of each one of these ladies!! Spending my evenings with these 5 the past couple of months has truly been a blessing!
Thank you seniors: Abby Kunzman, Elise Haack and Morgan Grooters!! You will be missed!!

Moving on to second round of regionals!!!! These girls…love them!!! Congrats ladies!!
Gracie finished in second place today as well!! It’s a great day to be a Hawk!!

So proud….these ladies improved their head to head conference record to 6-2 today beating MMCRU 204-208 and beating HLP 204-234!
Gracie takes medalist in both meets with a 44. Kinsey took second (HLP) and third (MMCRU), with a 50. Shout to Morgan shooting her season low 55 today! Team score was also season low! Keep it rolling ladies!!! It’s a Great Day to be a Hawk!!!

These ladies battled the wind again today at the conference meet in Sioux Center. Congrats to Kinsey Schirmer coming in 4th in the conference with a 99!! Congrats to Gracie placing 14th with a 106!! Way to go Hawks!!

Season low score as a team tonight, gets us the ”W” against Unity 206-224!!! Gracie took first in place with a 45, Kinsey takes 3rd with a 50 and both Abby and Morgan came in with their best scores of the year. So proud of this team!!

These ladies continue to impress, improving their record to 3-1 tonight, beating Gehlen 208-216!!! Abby Kunzman shot her personal best, Gracie came in 4th with a 52 and both Elise and Kinsey shot a 47, with Elise winning the 1st place medal on the handicap hole. Congrats ladies!! Great day to be a Hawk!! 🏌️‍♀️

These ladies posted their lowest team score so far and took home the medals! Abby Kunzman in 4th, Elise Haack 3rd, Kinsey Schirmer in 2nd and Gracie Knobloch took 1st. Proud of you all!! Go Hawks!!!

It was a bit breezy out there tonight but the kids worked hard! Jack Mastbergen took first place for the boys and Charlie Conway took second. Gracie Knobloch also took second, and Elise Haack took 4th place honors. Well done Hawks!!

These ladies rocked it tonight beating Remsen St Mary’s 218-231. Gracie earned first place with a 43, Elsie 2nd with a 47 and Kinsey 4th with a 57. Such a fantastic way to start our season!! Go Hawks!!!

HMS Girls placed 6th overall at the Conference meet today at the Ridge in Sioux Center. Elise Haack and Kinsey Schirmer both placed in the top 20!!! Elise also earned 1st Team All Conference and Kinsey earned 2nd Team All Conference! Congrats to these ladies on a job well done!
Excited to head to Regionals in Primghar this Friday!

HMS Ladies had a great night, beating both South O'brien and Sioux Central in our home triangular! Special congrats to Elise Haack, (46), with 2nd place honors, Kinsey Schirmer, (49), with 3rd place honors and Gracie Knobloch, (53), with 4th place honors in both head to head meets. Morgan Grooters and Emma Schmillen also had season best performances tonight. So proud of this team!

Congrats to Kinsey Schirmer for her 1st place medalist efforts tonight at Unity! Way to go Kinsey!

Monday was a beautiful night for some golf. HMS hosted HLP and came away with 2 places. Elise Haack placed 2nd with a round of 50 and Elle Mastbergen came in 3rd with a 52. Congrats ladies!

Congrats to Elise Haack on being medalist last night at South O’Brien with a round of 52. Her brother Ben took medalist honors also with a 42. Sam Heyn was silver medalist with a 45. Additional Congrats to the HMS Boys Golf team with the team win 189 to 192. Way to go Hawks!!
