We’ve officially launched our 15th Questions for When sticker pack, Questions for My Guard —
This pack came out of my own recent experiences of my guard going up, waiving relational caution flags, and regularly reminding me of risks of connecting, making myself available, and showing up in the face of vulnerable realities. It came out of my desire to relate with my guard in moments where I’ve been pretty sure the caution, the guardedness, the defensiveness could be worked through, or at the least, considered with a bit more depth & intention.
Relational hurts, traumatic experiences, & wounds happen; ‘tis a fact of life. In the face of these hurts, traumas, & wounds, I want to remain available to connect, love & be loved, curious & playful, & considerate of my own past experiences. Rather than cast aside or rigidly accept the cues from my internal guard, I can ask questions – I can relate.
Questions for my Guard has 25 questions without judgment or agenda to relate with your guard, your inner protector, your sense of defensiveness, your pre-cautious instincts.
Last couple slides is the mind map I made in the process of writing this pack that helped me to conceptualize of “my guard” — such a helpful, playful process for me always.

🚨 nerd alert 🚨
We’re big word nerds over here. The work I’ve been doing in the world & within myself has been landing within the dictionary sticker a lot this month.
Where things are at socially & societally ✨these days✨ I find myself needing to ground into the concept before picking anything up as fact or truth. To hold my boundaries & not become affectively swept into distorted reality, to consider, question, & discern in love, regard, & integrity, I need to go at the pace of my own knowing.
The dictionary sticker helps me land some critical but loaded language & ground it into my own knowing. I’m thankful for that.
Included a pic of the book heavily quoted/referenced throughout this series & my work of late “Shame & Pride: Affect, S*x, and the Birth of the Self” by Donald L. Nathanson
1) a blank “my dictionary” sticker
2) the word is “know” mapped on a dictionary sticker
3) the word is “anxiety” mapped on a dictionary sticker
4) the word is “cruel” mapped on a dictionary sticker
5) the word is “affect” mapped on a dictionary sticker
6) the word is “feeling” mapped on a dictionary sticker
7) the word is “emotion” mapped on a dictionary sticker
8) the word is “mood” mapped on a dictionary sticker
9) the word is “punishment” mapped on a dictionary sticker
10) the cover of “Shame & Pride: affect, s*x, and the birth of the self” by Donald L Nathanson
What’s it related to; in orbit with?
This “orbit” mind map sticker shows up all over in my notebooks as I sort toward clarity, alignment, growth, change, accountability…
Each time I hit awareness of a challenge I face, I find mapping the terrain - that is clicking what “it is” and other things that are not “it” but very much related, very much in orbit with “it” - I gain clarity. I find I’m more easily able to manifest my will toward being & acting in aligned ways. I find I’m able to make progress.
This sticker results in a lot of “ooooooooooohhh!” moments. Like 💡🤯🤓
All the stickers are little containers to capture noticings. No judgment, no agenda structures to land thoughts, notes, noticings & knowings. A place to begin, to dip a toe, to consider without diving into the rabbit hole. There’s no agenda, there’s no instruction book. We trust you can bring yourself & get somewhere.
Whether it’s approaching what’s haunting, what’s challenging, what’s interesting, what’s coming up a lot… I wonder, what’s it in orbit with?

Avoidance for the grid ✌️
Did something really annoying and made a Questions pack for my avoidance!
Since beginning workaholism recovery (3 yrs in Nov) avoidance has become a ✨whole thing✨ for me. Where it used to be compulsive doing, it’s now… avoidant not doing 😅 which makes so much sense in the context of nervous system dysregulation & fundamental shifts in nearly every area of my life. I don’t run on adrenaline anymore! But sometimes the lack of adrenaline makes it really easy - and puts me much closer to avoidance 🫣😴
And I’ve been finding myself more and more bothered by my avoidance. More and more haunted by the things (tasks/people) I avoid. Finding myself keenly aware of the misalignment, the Incongruence in my decisions to avoid. So, as many of these sticker packs are born, I made what I need right now. Because I want to learn to face my avoidance & continue into a journey of right relationship with myself & others. What I’ve learned is relating with what I’ve got right now is one of the best ways to understand how to move next - specifically a ext where I remain with myself! A congruent path forward.
So that’s the story of the avoidance stickers. I’m using mine in a little bucket I can pull from when the avoidance is dancing around my field of awareness. Making progress ✌️

It took a while but we finally got our ducks in a row & got this new pack QUESTIONS FOR MY PRIDE fully launched on the website after having it in person at for a couple weeks.
Growing up in a q***r household (👋🏻 ) & being raised with an open invitation to be myself & explore what that might mean makes pride month kind of like every other month over here. I was raised to have a healthy sense of pride in my family, in my self, in my being & becoming. To me, that’s what q***rness is about: being freely, creatively, & congruently.
We put this pack together in honor of pride month, in honor of the adults who raised us not to turn away from ourselves in the face of others’ criticism or judgment, in honor of self exploration & the powerful internal cue of pride that can reveal so much about the alignment of our doing & becoming.
All month long this pack is 33% off - just $5. Discount automatically applied in your cart, no limit on quantity for this sale.
Use these stickers in your notebook, with friends around the campfire, post out in the world to spark strangers’ & neighbors’ considerations… there are no rules, there is no right way!

FINALLY!! We’ve been sitting on this one for a while — a collaboration with who one day blessed me with some wisdom of daily energetics —
About a year ago I was trying to get clearer on my own rhythms and routines. I was trying to find some meaning in it, find some sense and tether points in the midst of big shifts and recovery. I reached out to Courtney who holds a rich well of wisdom about energetics, cycles, and how we can make sense of our human selves in the midst of systems and ways of doing that aren't super natural for these human beings that we are. And naturally, a sticker came of it.
This sticker captures the daily energetics for each of the seven days of the week including their planetary ruler and elemental guide.
This sticker is available in quantities of 1, 3, 7, & 15 – grab just a few or enough to share with your people.
This sticker measures 4"x6" with a semi-gloss finish on thermal sticker paper.

Out today with a new little pack of 16 stickers to map the year, one quarter at a time.
We put these CONSIDERING sticker packs together as a way to tune into EACH QUARTER of 2024 with some simple structure that doesn't should all over you or leave you behind.
We’ve got it set up so you can walk away with Q1 for $10 or all 4 Qs for $25.
It's not always helpful or necessary to look at the entire year all at once, especially while staying grounded and moving in the intended direction with the world all a mess. We put each quarter into its own little bundle ready for whenever you find occasion to approach it – and then easily tuck it away with clear labeling for however and whenever you opt to come back to it.
This pack includes 16 different stickers for each given quarter:
🗓 3 grid calendars (one for each month of the quarter)
🗓 3 sandbox calendars (also, one for each month of the quarter)
🗓 1 quarterly planning calendar (including all three months of the quarter)
🗓 6 congruence lists (including one each of: I want • I don't want • I intend • I plan • I won't • I dream)
🗓 2024 full year reference calendar
🗓 2024 full year moon calendar
🗓 1 blank full year mapping calendar
This bundle doesn't offer any judgment or agenda RE: WHAT IT IS YOU SHOULD BE DOING AND HOW YOU SHOULD BE DOING IT TO BE YOUR MOST EXCELLENT SELF. There's no program here. But there is an invitation to break it down, lay it out, move the pieces around, make decisions, get clear, see it all at once, toss what you don't need, and then land it all in one place (or several different places) exactly how and where you need going into each quarter of this next calendar year.
Each sticker in this bundle measures 4"x6" with a semi-gloss finish on thermal sticker paper.
When [] what helps is:
There’s something powerful about a small amount of space to get clear on one thing.
I’ve been thinking a lot about focus this week. One thing that regularly interrupts my willful & flowing focus is something arising that kicks me off my own track - that might be period pains, a season of regular avoidance, or temperature dysregulation.
Once I get info squarely within my focus, it’s incredible what I can do with it - how I can accommodate myself and just simply make decisions that move or adjust me in a regardful way.

We’ve got another bundle live today - the 2024 Monthly Calendaring & Planning Stationery Sticker Bundle
We put this bundle together for other squirrel brains out there who like to break it down & map it out a few different ways – but maybe not always all the way in all the ways – and then see where it all lands in the end, with a clear plan for next year, of course.
We put it together for people who are looking for as little influence & agenda from their 2024 planning tools as possible, while still offering the structure & prompting.
We don’t know what you need in 2024, but we trust you to figure it out ❤️🔥

A couple new sticker packs - bundled in a deal if you want em both, $10.
These packs are inspired by my elders. My grandfather, my grandmother, my 6th grade teacher (all my teachers), my parents (all of them)
Find 25 questions for your kid self in war times — The 25 questions you'll find in this pack come from conversation with my inner kid about war. I was in 4th grade when 9/11 happened and then the start of the Iraq war. The clear eyed discovery of imperialist agenda, the dishonesty in explanations of devastation, the manipulation of victim voices, the quick memetic assumptions of threat on streets around this country – the discoveries of what humans are capable of – specifically adult humans – is devastating again. Every time. Rather than treat myself as a kid who isn’t read, can’t handle, is too sensitive, disrupted by engagement
I relate with my fears, my worries, the things that make me feel small in the face of war and genocide and deep fragmentation. I invite my kid self, my smallest self, my self most concerned about safety & security, my world building self, my playful self - I invite my kid self to stay present in these war times.
And Considering Who Taught Me, flips it around to look at the elders and teachers. Who taught me what it is I hold? What I believe about myself?
Check out through the ig store or go to our website, link in bio. Need a deeper deal? Shoot a dm.
Through the rest of October Questions For When sticker packs are 20% off. If you’re low on funds, shoot a DM, tell me what you want, and we can still sling some stickers your way at a pay what you can rate.
I’ve made these little packs as low-key tools to meet myself, and befriend myself, in the face of powerful feeling states that so easily have the ability to dominate my experience of my Self, drown out what else I’ve got – leave me flat & drifting. Emotionally washed up, disoriented.
In each pack you find 25 (sticker) questions without judgment or agenda. There’s no “modality” besides the modality of a sticker & a question 🤭 which is really, as a modality, the ability to stick a little food for thought in a place you pick, to engage in a way that feels authentic to you, & see what happens. I find this method to approaching myself gets me curious, often leads me to play, & ends up feeling something like practice.

One thing we love about one-day stationery stickers is that they let things be so… one day at a time.
Every day, we get to use what works… for that day.
The trial and error is so low stakes. It’s just a day. Just a sticker. If something doesn’t work, there’s not much to throw out. There’s not much guilt my goofy brain can conjure.
The issue has always been that planners don’t work for me but I have real planning to do.
Planners don’t work for me because I inevitably end up not having it when I need it so ✨all the things✨ don’t end up in the planner. I’m bad at carrying the same stuff, keeping the same stuff, in my bag for too long. It’s just a thing.
Planners has me up and then stress me out. When I have blank pages (or blank months) it loses its luster - it womp womps out of use — usually landing somewhere under my bed for the rest of the year or until my next deep clean.
Stationery stickers let me pick what works. They kinda SHOW me what works.
Whereas a planner has always felt like a rule, a should, a pass/fail in doing it right — stickers just feel like stickers.
There’s no commitment beyond the 4”x6” space I chose for the day. It’s pretty low stakes. It’s pretty flexible. It can go anywhere, anytime, anyway.
Stickers let me be more myself, as I am, right here right now. A tool in letting it be what it is right now.
Pictured: side by side pages in my current notebook with one daily time blocking sticker on the left and a daily task + time blocking sticker on the right.
Get 3 for $2, 7 for $2.5, 15 for $3.5, 31 for $6.25, or 52 for $10. disobedientga.co for purchase or slide in these dms.

I made this sticker on a day when SCOTUS did too much in one week; on a day when a heaviness weighed me down; a day when good news sidled up along side tired backtracking.
I find that when life hits all at once, I can easily fly off to the races with my own worries and what ifs. I decided to map it out. In the face of ✨ all this✨ what now? What can I expect? If I've been here before, what happened last time? If I've done this a million times, what fear never manifests?
Is there anything I can prepare for when I consider my own expectations? I sure think so. This sticker gets me in the swing of considering with 13 lines to consider – just enough space to jot it down, not enough to get stuck in the weeds on it.
This sticker is available in quantities of 3, 7, 15, 31, & 52 – try out just a few or get enough to share with the whole neighborhood.

I made this sticker last week as I recuperated from the after-effects of a juvenile parole hearing, 25 years after the crime; I’ve worked in prisoner rights & liberation for 10+ years, specifically advocating for people convicted of violent crimes as children for the last 8. I now split my time between stickers & prison work - it’s all disobedient here.
We lock up kids that need parenting the most.
I encounter this awareness & grief at some point in the course of every case I work on. It’s devastating what we do. The evidence of this 100s of years old practice surrounds us. It swims in us. Can you feel the consequences?
I’m working on (my first) zine, sharing some of what I’ve learned, felt, and come to understand deeply in this work, this grief, this heart. Flip through for some of the bits that will show up (pulled from my journals & scribbles). This sticker is the title of my zine.
Thanks to for inspiring through her call for perzine resurgence 🔥(check out her grid post if you’re interested in making one, too).
There’s a prayer & an invitation in every sticker placed that we might get to doing different.

When I say, communicating effectively is hard, what I mean is that working at communicating can be really painful and challenging. It’s easy to be committed to a “hard conversation” and then find the words are gone when it’s reached a certain tension point - no longer being able to articulate what you know you know you know, you just can’t get out the mouth in any coherent way.
It can get easier, as do many things, with a bit of practice & attention. With a bit of preparation, conviction, consideration.
These stickers were first inspired by difference I encounter with loved ones and strangers alike – difference in opinion, in politics, in word choices, in lexicon, in values... difference where, in the face of it, I still wanted to relate. I still wanted to be understood.
I found – & continue to find – that when I take a moment to really consider what I mean or what I'm trying to communicate, I can do a much more effective job at getting where I want: a regardful relationship in the face of difference.
I hope this gentle stationery sticker helps you orient to capacity, your own needs & the ways you are choosing your Self each day when you claim your own meaning making.
Pick between three options or a few of each: when I say... what I'm trying to tell you is... / when I say...what I want you to understand is that... / when I say...what I mean is...
This sticker is available in quantities of 3, 7, 15, 31, & 52 – try out just a few or get enough to build into your routine. This sticker measures 4" x 6" with a semi-gloss finish on thermal sticker paper.

The latest launch in the Questions For When line – Questions for When I’m Grieving
25 questions to engage your grief without judgment, influence, or agenda. These are questions for noticing, tuning in, peeking around the corner.
These questions are for the present times. When tuned in, grief often feels inescapable. Over here, I’ve found that’s okay. I’ve found that the more I tune into the present state of my grief, the more at ease I feel to coexist with my grief as it is, as it weeps.
With grief especially, tuning in without judgment or intentions to move it one way or another, I find ritual and relief. Maybe you will, too.

150 years ago today Susan B. Anthony was tried for and convicted of, the crime of voting.
On November 5, 1872, Miss Anthony and 14 other women were successful in registering to vote and then casting their votes. Who’s hands penned 15 women’s names onto the voting rolls? Who’s fingers dropped 15 ballots in the box?
“The Fourteenth Amendment gives no right to a woman to vote, and the voting by Miss Anthony was in violation of the law…" the Judge read from a pre-prepared guilty verdict he had held in his pocket throughout the day-long trial.
The Court’s conviction was cast before the trial began. As it often goes.
Her sentence was a fine of $100 + the cost of the prosecution. She declared to the packed courtroom that she would never pay the fine and she never did.
Women wouldn’t “earn the vote” until 1906, 33 years after Ms. Anthony’s conviction and 14 years after her death.
Progress is slow & disobedience is essential.
Don’t forget crime is a construct.
How can you disobey today?
