I'm often sent messages saying "I would love a massage but I think I'm too far for you to travel" my answer more often than not is, of course you can have a massage with me!

I will travel to most places in and around Leeds and Bradford, I was in yesterday and today!

I'm based in Guiseley - any location within 5 miles of my base will have their travel costs included, any location outside of that 5 mile radius will have a small charge added to the cost of the treatment to cover petrol.

So if you're wanting a massage but think you're too far, please get in touch and we can arrange a booking to suit your needs!

A weekend fully immersed in new wellness experiences, from meditative movement practices surrounded by sheep and bird song, deeply relaxing guided relaxation sessions to countryside walks and amazing food, I am on another level of zen 🤍

This weekend has taught me that I don't need to wait for another weekend retreat to fully relax, I now have the tools to cultivate my own sense of wellness wherever I am 🤍

MAGIC IN A BOTTLE 💫💫💫

My luxury full body aromatherapy treatment has to be one of my favourite treatments to give.

I start the treatment by asking clients to take some long breaths in through the nose whilst inhaling some pure lavender essential oil. Lavenders natural sedative properties make you feel instantly more relaxed and taking those lovely long inhalations will get your mind and body in that gorgeous zen like zone ready for your treatment.

I then follow with a soothing full body massage of the back, legs, arms and decollatage finished with a sleep inducing face and scalp massage, all with a sumptuous aromatherapy blend oil of your choice.

We finish with some more deep breaths of pure lavender oil (if you're still awake 😊) and you're left feeling a weightless sense of calm and tranquility.

SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY 🌠🌠🌠

Waking up anxious will turn into starting your day with a mindfulness meditation. Spreading yourself too thin, will turn into carving out moments for self care, and pushing your body too hard will become consistently giving your body the rest it needs to function.

Exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and selfcare routines can seem overwhelming when you try to squeeze all of them into your already busy schedule, but taking small consistent steps can eventually turn into a lifestyle.

I make a conscious effort to do something that benefits my mental and physical health everyday, (as well as monthly maintenance massages, these are non-negotiable for me!) whether that be a 5 minute meditation, a quick breathing exercise before bed or getting out in nature. Looking after yourself shouldn't seem like a challenge or a chore, it should something that's enjoyable and achievable for you.

So make a pact with yourself now that you will do something today that is just for you.

LISTEN ✨✨✨

This is a reminder to myself as well as all of you lovely lot, to listen to your body when it's telling you enough is enough!

These past 2 weeks have been a STRUGGLE, I've had a horrendous wisdom tooth infection that knocked me for six! Who knew a little tooth could cause so many issues!🥴🙈

As a new small business owner, I have really struggled when it comes to feeling like I have let clients down by having to cancel appointments due to health reasons and have previously taken the approach of pushing through even when my body has been telling me to stop. But my body gave me no choice this time!

By taking my own advice I have been able to fully recover and now feel so much better and probably better than I have felt in a long time! I obviously haven't been taking notice of the little signs my body was giving me that I needed to slow down.

So take a moment to check in with yourself today, do you feel good?? Does your whole body and mind feel good?? I sure hope it does but if it doesn't, don't ignore it, do something to change how you feel. We all deserve to feel the best we can!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 🌠🌠🌠

That's a wrap on 2022 for Mari Massage and Reflexology and what a whirlwind few months it has been for my new little business!

I can't thank all my clients enough for their support as I navigate being a business owner 💅😘💅 Every kind word and bit of encouragement has made these past few months an absolute pleasure (and much less scary than I thought it would be😂).

I'm going into 2023 with so much excitement and can't wait to see what this new year is going to bring although, spoiler alert.... There will be some gorgeous new treatments coming your way 🤩🤩🤩

WINTER 🌠🌠🌠

Wintery walks, snow ball fights and cosying up in front of the fire watching the snow fall are some of life's pleasures, however winter also brings with it some complications, especially for mobile services.

Here's a few things I wanted to mention so we are fully prepared for the winter months;

🔹We are forecast snow and freezing temperatures over the next few weeks so can I ask if you have an appointment with me and you live in area that is hazardous to reach in icy weather please let me know. I would rather be safe than sorry and will happily rearrange your appointment to another date.

🔹It is the season to be merry, but it is for some, also the season to be poorly thanks to all these bugs going around, especially those with little ones therefore if you are unwell please let me know so we can rearrange your appointment to when you are feeling better.

🔹And whilst I would absolutely hate to cancel an appointment, if myself or my little one gets sick, I will be in touch as soon as I can to let you know.

🔹And last but not least the dreaded Rona 😬😬😬 If you have any concerns over close contact services please get in touch and we can take all the necessary precautions to make sure you are comfortable with your appointment.
