We have successfully completed our first Music Therapy Group for those with Tourette Syndrome. We will start our next group in a few months and continue collecting evidence on how music therapy can support those with Tourettes. Many thanks to the Music Therapy Charity and others for donating towards this ongoing project and especially to Tourettes Action for their incredible support and encouragement for the project.

Beautiful song by my good friend and music therapist/singer song writer Will Lawton
Thank you Will.
"When this song is made available to buy, it will be used to raise money to kickstart a new project being driven by Kandu Arts, Pound Arts and The Rhythm Practice. Our aim is to offer our guests from Ukraine a space and professional support, allowing families to meet with others that have also fled Ukraine to the UK. The details of this project will be announced in due course.
The project will be kickstarted with a concert called 'Home From Home' at Pound Arts in Corsham on Wednesday 27th April. I will be performing alongside Katey Brooks. Ludwig Mack and several other artists. Tickets are being sold on a 'pay what you can afford' basis."
LISTEN TO YOUR DREAMS by Will Lawton (featuring Katey Brooks) This song is dedicated to the courageous people of Ukraine who have had their dreams shattered. May they keep on dreaming.Listen To Your Dreams by Will Lawt...

So lovely to be working remotely with Footsteps Foundation children. Here are some photos from last week’s session with Jessie.. “Jess loved the music therapy and was very animated during it. That smile says it all. It has worked perfectly as Jess is still at home shielding.” - Mum
Thank you Footsteps Foundation for this great opportunity to reconnect with the children and their families remotely. I’ve missed working along side your lovely team of physios.
We have an exciting opportunity where we are offering 5 free Music Therapy sessions via zoom with Lizz Lipscombe for Footsteps families.
Zoom sessions – considering the needs and goals of your children using music to explore these in a bespoke and fun way.
If you are local to Oxfordshire, it may be possible for Lizz to come to you face to face observing social distancing rather than on zoom, please contact Lizz to discuss further.
