Following the recent announcement by Sporting Shooters Association of Australia - NSW Ltd regarding the acquisition of Auburn Shooting Academy, we are pleased to announce that SSAA Sydney branch will establish the SSAA Sydney Pistol Club.
SSAA Sydney Pistol Club will cater for members looking to get into Category H pistol shooting, those who are currently pistol shooters elsewhere and those who may want to move over as a SSAA Sydney Pistol Club member.
As pistol is a different category, this is a separate membership to your existing category A and B long arms with SSAA Sydney. We will be based at the SSAA NSW Auburn Shooting Centre in the coming months once the refurbishment is completed and will work alongside the clubs who previously used the facility.
Keep an eye out for the registration of interest form which will be up this week to lodge your interest in becoming a part of the SSAA Sydney Pistol Club. We will be also looking for Range Officers to assist with the club range operations. If this interests you please reach out to the page.
Options for licensing and training will also be available for those who currently don’t hold a category H licence and would like to get started with the process.
There hasn’t been a more exciting time to get involved with your local club and be a part of the beginning of something great!
