Today, on the 17th of Ramadan, we remember the day when Allah (SWT) granted victory to Prophet Muhammad and his companions in the Battle of Badr, over thousands of Pagans from Mecca, 1400 years ago. We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant victory to the people of Palestine over their oppressors, just as He granted victory to the Prophet and his companions. Indeed, Allah is sufficient for us, and we are always in need of Him. O Allah, You are the Source of Peace; grant peace and prosperity to the Palestine. Ameen.

We're embracing the blessed month of Ramadan with a slight tweak in our schedule. Please note the change in our delivery service hours:

Saturday to Thursday: 20:00 - 23:00
Friday: Closed
Also, in observance of the first day of Ramadan, we will not be operating tomorrow.

O our Lord! We are desperately in need of you. You are most generous and self-sufficient. We are in need of you in good times and bad; you are the one we seek for help.

Even if we are wealthy and privileged, we always need your guidance and support. We will keep asking for anything and everything. So, we ask you to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine because we know there is no true helper besides you. You are sufficient for us and them. O the ever-living, the owner of the Arsh, we beg you to protect the people of Palestine.

O our beloved prophet Mohamed (SAW). We miss you. There isn't a real hero like you. There isn't any leader or anyone who has the courage to end this injustice. We are sick of this genocide. Then, imagine the pain and trauma the people of Palestine have been going through over the last three months.

O Allah. We trust you. You are swift in taking action. Please end this injustice and mischief and make the world a peaceful place. Indeed, you are the one who grants peace.

My 7-year-old son asked me why Allah (SWT) didn't send rain from the sky while Israel dropped bombs on Palestine so that the people of Palestine might be safe. What I can only say is that, of course, He can do whatever He wants because he is capable of everything. We, as Muslims, should believe that when Allah delays or hastens something, there is a Hikmah behind it that we may not understand. So what we can do is trust Allah and trust the process. Yes, surely, He is the one who sends rain to this earth and provides for all of us, yet we aren't thankful enough. Also, if He wills, He is capable of sending storms of stones to oppressors, but He delays the punishment for the wrongdoers for some reasons.

As Israel bombs on the civilians of Palestine while they are in their houses and kills them, in Islam, it is even forbidden to enter one's house without their permission. But when we go to someone's house, we should say Assalaamu alaikum three times, and if there is no answer from inside the house, we cannot enter. We should simply leave. This is what Islam teaches us.

In what world is it okay to continuously bomb unarmed innocent civilians while they are in their houses? So, even the whole world knows who the real oppressors are now. I couldn't have imagined that in the 21st century, we could witness this level of genocide. The saddest part of this is that most Muslim leaders don't even see this, as if they are blind. But we know it's not that their eyes are blind but that their hearts are blind and rusted.

Another thing we should keep in mind is that this is a test for all of us to see what we do to end this genocide and what we do to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Allah is aware of people's intentions and the little things they do within their capabilities. May Allah ease the pain of our beloved brothers and sisters in Palestine and give them victory ASAP. Our prayers are with them always. Indeed, Allah is almighty and most merciful.
