Friends play a very crucial role in your life.

You've probably heard this before....

"You're the average of the 5 people you hang out with the most."

Its very true... The people you allow into your circle matter because its one of the most determining factors of how your life pans out.

They can either help you and propel you in your life's journey and help you get to your destination faster...

Or they contribute to pulling you down or slowing you down or at worst stopping you on your current trajectory...😰.

That is why not everyone needs to be your friend.

You can be a people person and all but the fact remains that NOT everyone should be your friend.

So here's what you should do.....

Examine your circle and compare it with your plans and goals in life...

If they don't align or correlate then one must change...

Its either you change your circle to suit your goals or you change your goals to suit your circle.

One must sha happen so your choice🤷‍♂️

Let's face it. Deep down we all want investments that gives us maximum ROI. As humans we tend to be naturally lazy. I mean think about it.

Some part of you just wants to sit back in maybe your pyjamas or some other comfy clothes, relax, have popcorn or snacks and drinks, put your feet up and watch Netflix or your favorite show on TV.

Again, we all love social media. I mean who doesn't? There are a host of options to choose from that we just can't wrap our heads round them all. There's WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, tiktok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, might I go on??

Hello Oga/Madam. WAKE UP!!😒

When last did you read a book?📚

When last did you consume valuable information that got you inspired?🤔

When last did you take an online course so you could get better at anything really?🤓

When last did you get into extremely valuable conversations?🗣👤

Now think about this.... With the way you're going, with your current daily routine, foresee yourself continuing this pattern for the next 5 or 10 years....🧐

Does the picture look beautiful???🤷‍♂️

If it doesn't then come back to the present and make the necessary adjustments ASAP!!!

You're not getting any younger so whether you like it or not 5, 10 years from now will still happen (if Jesus tarries in His coming).

Think about who you want to be 5 or 10 years from now and start adjusting and making the necessary changes because let's face it; honestly in one way or the other, you've been making bad investments in yourself.

We've all heard the phrase:

'The best investment you can make is in yourself'.

So get up and dust yourself. Age is no barrier here. You could be in your 20's, 30's, 40's or even 50's. Bottom line is start from where you are now and press on. The future you is waiting and wants the present you to buckle up.💪

So stop making bad investments that will ruin your future and produce negative ROIs. Be very intentional from this moment on where you invest your energy and most importantly your time.

Trust me the future you will be very grateful you did😉
