We had a great ConnectSPED meeting tonight to wrap up the 2023-2024 school year. We plan to have an option to get together at Webster Park sometime this summer, and we will keep you posted. Our quarterly meetings will resume in the 2024-2025 school year.

Neuropsychological Testing: What is it and when is it needed? 18/10/2023

This article explains neuropsychological testing and when it's used. Did you know that parents can ask for a referral for neuropsychological testing. The wait list is often longer than 6 months, and there are a few options locally including Essentia, HP Psychological, and Arrowhead Psychological. The information from the testing can with diagnosing a variety of conditions such as ADHD, OCD, autism, anxiety, and learning disabilities. This information can be extremely helpful when advocating for your child's needs in school setting.

Neuropsychological Testing: What is it and when is it needed? Neuropsychological testing is a pragmatic way to assess a child's learning profile and identify executive function challenges.
