And thatâs a wrap for Guerrilla Gigs 2020! It feels like this summer series finished as quickly as it began. We hope you were as happy as we were to provide a soundtrack to the Revelstoke summer! There were many obstacles and surprises that kept us on our toes, and reinforced the âguerrilla-nessâ of these Guerrilla Gigs: ever-changing health restrictions and guidelines, last-minute venue and band changes, and even the sprinklers going off during a performance (donât worry, the band and gear were shaken but not harmed).
These gigs would not happen without the hard work of several kind-hearted individuals: Miriam and Nik putting on the shows, Josiah making it sound amazing, Francois and Mira making it look stunning on video and photo, our helpers making sure the gig days ran smoothly (Rob, Randy, Mathilde, Teresa, AmĂ©lia, Emma, Erin, Theresa, Dru, and Marina), everyone who offered up a venue for us to use, all the attention from our local and extended media, and the love and cooperation of our beloved Revelstokians. Guerrilla Gigs may be done for the year, but that doesnât mean the live music is finished. Keep an eye on our page for updates on how weâll be bringing live music to the community, or sign up for our newsletter if thatâs more your style. Stay tuned for more Revelstoke live music in the fall!
Guerrilla Gigs and Blue Heron. It might have been the smallest Blue Heron festival ever, but it definitely had its charm! Beautiful location, interesting light, stunning musicians and lovely people made this evening very special.

An evening to remember: Old rusty trains, hot summer temperatures, unexpected sprinklers going off during the gig and a wonderful band who managed to keep the audience excited while singing spontaneously acoustic! Luckily everything was rescued in time from the water and we could go on listening to the beautiful voices of and her band!
