Yarn 🧶:

Hooray for new products! By special request, I remixed our Grand Teton Hat and love how it turned out. The pom pom version is headed to Dayton to a lucky recipient excited for cooler days in the months to come. It’s 100% US Wool! I’m converting all of our hats to 100 % wool (except the Monkees Beanie which will be available in both versions by request) and will be coming out with new options on old classics as well. My goal is to get this all set up by the end of the summer 🌞 I’ll be sure to keep you posted 🥰 Everything will still be made me in my studio and will have the same comfort and coziness you know and love.

The Copper K Fiber Fest is one of my favorite events of the year! It’s coming up in a few weeks (July 20 & 21). My pattern is pictured here in this year’s stunning colorway by Kami at Ranching Tradition Fiber. The pattern is free on my blog, and you can knit a tank (also available on my website) to match! Kami’s yarn is so soft and squishy, and she is an amazing steward of the land. I love making garments with it and am actually working out some new ideas with her lovely yarn as we speak! Be sure to check out her amazing selection of yarn and fiber goods. Hope to see you all at the Festival!

• I haven’t been posting on social media much. Mostly because I have been busy getting everything ready for the Copper K Fiber Festival.

My website shop will be closed for about a week around the festival. Allowing me time to prep and recover from the busy weekend.

Too impatient to wait for so I’m sharing the I just finished. Beautiful, simple pattern by that is fun to quickly work up for summertime. I-cord edges are quickly becoming one of my favorite accents!

Stepped outside my comfort zone with the color and texture combination of the thanks for the lovely pattern and beautiful yarn

Just finished two patterns for that will be donated to 🩷🩶🤎🤍💜💛

The first pattern is a The Pink Trumpet Tree Blanket Shawl, made with the soft squishy chunky merino yarn from (it’s sooooo cozy). I got this yarn at on our California road trip last summer, so I named it after one of the beautiful trees found near the start of our trek in Orange County. Divided into 8 sections, this shawl features color and texture changes as you work asymmetrically across! It was fun to knit, and considering I’m deep in the middle of series, it’s the perfect wrap to snuggle up in while I read in the evenings!

Temps may be getting warmer, but you’ll finish it just in time for cozy season to start back up in the fall 💖

The other pattern is an afghan block for Clover x Warm Up America. Featuring THE purple door with a gold frame from , the I’ll Be There For You Block can be knit using intarsia or duplicate stitch (knitter’s choice!). It’s part of a full knit afghan I’m creating, and you can snag this block early!

Happy Earth Day to my fellow wildlings - grateful for the flora and fauna that make our planet healthy and vibrant and the best place to call home, and particularly grateful for the creatures working hard to ensure our home remains livable 🌎💙

Also, happy ! I love going fun places, but I love coming home to Montana most of all. I picked up some beautiful yarn from that I can’t wait to Cast On!

Thanks for the fun pattern and thank you for the beautiful yarn 🤎🧶 I haven’t made a cardigan in forever, and this pattern was such a pleasure to knit. Easy lacework yet entertaining from start to finish. Really loved the raglan shaping as well! ➰➰➰➰

Hope y’all are hanging in there after losing an hour of sleep. I whipped this St Pattys themed hat up using 🧶 My unpopular knitting opinion is that I like duplicate stitch more than intarsia for motifs. What’s your preference? This hat can be made either way. Ill try to get a pattern up on Ravelry asap!

Frog has new crocs, and he also has a new, treasured place on my bookshelf to help celebrate - the Jane Goodall section. Grateful for all the women who have inspired me over the years - I’m so lucky to have so many wonderful role models to look up to, lean on, and learn from. 🩷

Happy paper anniversary handsome. Four and a half years later, you and Posey continue to be the warm and bright sunshine in each of my days ☀️ I love you the most 🩷

I loved the Frog and Toad book series as a kid, so making a Mr. Frog of my own was so fun (so so fun in fact that I’ve almost finished another). He’s still without shoes, but those will come soon. He’s embraced the Montana lifestyle fully—riding grizzlies and hanging with wolves—as you can see. DM me if you’re interested in adopting one of these for yourself so I can gauge interest 🥰🐸 I can also make a Mr Toad version.

Happy solstice! I don’t know about you, but I’m excited for the days to start getting longer again. Here’s .sage.photography rocking her chunky camper hat in blue. Made from 100% recycled materials, it’s soooooo soft. Almost as soft as her rabbits she raises! 🐰🤩

When I’m given free rein to make hats for people, I like to pick color schemes and designs that I think will match their personalities as well as their wardrobes. Nothing makes me happier than hitting the mark, and seeing Lynette, Cali, and Jase serendipitously wearing matching attire to their new beanies made my day 🤩 Bringing warmth and the chance to express yourself means the world to us, and we are so grateful for everyone out there rocking our knits 🥰
