Disappointing night 😕 at Gulf Coast Speedway last night but the fireworks 💥 show was great! 👏🏻
Started off the night by drawing a 99. Didn’t have enough drive in the heat and only went 7️⃣➡️5️⃣
Started 7th in the feature and was making the pass for 5th on lap 2️⃣. Entered turn one and car snapped loose and just about spun. Another car got into me a little and I dropped to 13th. ☹️
The car was fast 💨 on the cushion and I raced back to 7th when a caution 🟡 came out on lap 17. I’m thinking to myself “Alright!”. 😁
Unfortunately on the restart car snapped loose again and I dropped to 10th and ended up 9th.
After the race I discovered that I broke ⛓️💥 the Jacobs Ladder.
Took a hit in the points and dropped 📉 to 3rd place but just 2 points out of the lead. Overall just 5 points between the Top 4 drivers!
It looks like we’ve gone from a wet ⛈️ spring to our Summertime hot 🥵 and dry pattern so barring a hurricane 🌀 I’ll be back at Gulf Coast on Saturday night.

How does it feel to have a 2 second lead with 3 laps to go and a slower car spins in front of you? 🫣 Well…not great. 😬
Tried to whoa it up as best I could but it was too late. Banged wheels with the other car, held my breath and hoped for the best. 🙏🏻
Fortunately, I’ve got the toughest, strongest 💪, best performing wheels in racing! TJ Forged! The wheel not only held air and allowed me to go on to the win 🏁 but it wasn’t even bent. The mud cover wasn’t so fortunate but it doesn’t hold air 😂

Headed to Super Bee Speedway 🐝 in Chatham, Louisiana for tonight’s NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region race and junked a wheel bearing on my trailer in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Had to drop the trailer and head back to Huntsville for a new axle, etc. Thanks to Vp Truck & Trailer Service in Nacogdoches and Husky Trailer Parts Co. in Huntsville for getting us the part and repair 🔧 done fast! 5 star 🌟 review for them.
Back on the road 🛣️ now. Hopefully we’ll make it to the track in time for hot laps!

Chaos in the heat race at Gulf Coast Speedway this past weekend. Started last in 5th place, in turn 3 of lap one got run into which caused the other car to have a nasty barrel roll. (He is okay) 🫨
Luckily I was able to continue on and took the lead on the restart and led the rest of the race to capture another heat race victory this season 🏆
After the heat I have a young man my checkered flag. Later that night after the feature he asked me sign it for him. It’s the little things like that that make this so fun and can turn a rough night into a great one. 🏁

Solid Night at Gulf Coast Speedway last night. Brought it home 3rd and combined with my heat race win 🏁 I’ve climbed to the top of the Season Championship point standings! 🥇🏆
I’ve been trying some things 🔧 to get better when the track is super slick and it seems to be paying off. Not quite fast enough at the end yet to seal the deal but I’m gaining on it.
Some big races coming up the next couple of weeks! Looking forward to getting back to Gulf Coast on June 29th with the wing on for the make-up of the Tommy Wilson Memorial. 💰
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there, especially mine who does so much for me and my racing. Love ya Dad! 👨🏼❤️

Unfortunately Sooner 600 week didn’t go as planned this year. 😔
We had a rough first night at Creek County Speedway missing the setups and getting involved in a crash late in the night.
The second day at Creek County we qualified well but noticed one of the engine mount bolts was gone. After not being able to find a replacement this ended our night.
The next day we headed to Red Dirt Raceway with a replacement bolt in place however it turned out the threads in the engine for the engine mount bolt were stripped. After non wing qualifying it had fallen out again and the chain was super loose.
We decided to just pack up and head home to get it fixed and ready for Gulf Coast Speedway this weekend before we tore anything else up. 💪

Night ✌️ at Creek County was great until it wasn’t. Qualified 1st in my group for winged and 3rd overall in non wing!
When I was getting in the car for the non wing heat I realized I had lost the inside engine mount bolt. Unfortunately I did not have a spare nor did anyone else.
Ultimately we decided to load up and call it quits for the day after we missed both heat races. I’m working on getting it fixed up for tonight at Red Dirt Raceway - Meeker, OK! Looking for a little more luck to the week.

Unfortunately last night didn’t go as planned. I struggled early on in qualifying and had to run through the B mains for both the wing and non wing A-Mains.
I started in the back of the non wing feature and finally found a setup that worked but unfortunately a car up front was dumped and I had nowhere to go. Flipped the car over and that was that.
Got it all fixed up and ready to try again tonight!

I’ve been waiting a long time ⏰ to show off my new Bell Helmets RS7 Carbon helmet painted by Clem's Helmet ! 🪄
I knew I wanted more of a Texas themed helmet this time but I wanted to incorporate the carbon in the helmet as well. After a few revisions and ideas this is what Mark came up with and I couldn’t be happier! 😁
What’s more Texan than the Texas flag, cowboys, horses, Longhorns and the “Come and Take It” Flag!
This helmet has it all without being too much!
I’m excited to wear this helmet throughout the remainder of the season and can’t thank Bell Helmets and Clems Helmet enough for their help in creating a badass and comfortable helmet!

Just in time for Summer ☀️ I’ve got a new firesuit!
K1 RaceGear did a great job on my Hyper Racing themed suit. Super excited to represent Dirt2Media and Hooey for 2024 and look professional while doing so!
Went with a predominantly red 🔴 suit this time with blue 🔵 accents! It compliments my new helmet perfectly!

Today I was featured in Gulf Coast Speedway driver spotlight!
I have truly come to enjoy racing at Gulf Coast Speedway these past few seasons. The facility is always improving and the track does an amazing job promoting not only the races but their drivers as well. Thank you Gulf Coast Speedway for always putting on a good show and giving the best of everything to your drivers and fans!

Definitely had an uphill climb last night at RPM Speedway - Crandall, TX. Car had lots of speed but the draw/redraw system of setting of the lineups made things tough.
Went 5️⃣👉🏻2️⃣ in my heat and was top point earner🥇but then I redrew the 8 for the feature lineup 😩.
Went 8️⃣👉🏻3️⃣ in the feature. A-Main was only 15 laps and just couldn’t get through the traffic fast enough then definitely would have benefited from a late caution to tighten up the field.
Congrats to Jacob Ewing Racing on the win. RPM is a super nice facility and looking forward to going back.

The Wings Over Texas Tour takes flight starting this Saturday night at RPM Speedway - Crandall, TX in Crandall, Texas. Then it’s on to Gulf Coast Speedway to defend my Tommy Wilson Memorial Championship on the 18th and then finishing up at BIG O Speedway on Memorial Day weekend the 25th.

A solid night at Gulf Coast Speedway last night!
Heat: 7th 👉 2nd
A-Main: 2nd 👉 5th
I ran a great heat race which set me up for the outside front row of the feature. I led the first half of the race but the car began to get looser as the race went on and I tried to hold my own and get as many points as possible. All in all a successful night. Went from 7th in track season points to 2nd last night! I also expanded my lead for the Ark-La-Tex Championship! 🏆
I learned a lot and showed speed on a track surface I typically struggle at. Excited for the next one and to apply what we learned last night! 🏁
