Testing out more metalfill.
This one has been coated with iron to allow for a natural rust to form then varnish to seal it.
I look forward to selling these... When my printer decides it wants to work again π
A custom three well dice box for a customer on etsy.
I was sceptical about using coloured stains again but surprisingly this one came out better than I'd hoped.
My new design is an all in one gaming box for all your adventuring needs. Features a standard dice slot, two wells for minis and a spare dice set and a pen holder. Oh and the lid can be used as a rolling tray :)
This box was done in a limited colour I created called dense green, I'm happy with how it came out however the stain proved too be troublesome to work with for future orders. Standard colours will be available on Esty soon.
A custom laser engraved leather box for danny. Was on the fence about white leather but think it came out well especially with the engraving.
Ive been busy at work making many new things!
My latest product is a 3D Printed copper hex box with a natural patina.
The prints are rock tumbled for 24 hours to remove layer lines
then coated with a real copper paint and oxidised.
The prints are completely solid so they have some weight to them. I look forward to making more and ill be putting them on etsy soon.
I've updated my etsy shop to include my hex dice :)

Testing more engraved styling.
Another custom order out the door.
A challenging piece but got there in the end, the small lettering proved to be a real issue for wood filament. Got there in the end though and happy with the result.
Nice new dnd logo boxes!
I was given a new phone and I couldn't find a case I liked so I made one.
Guess I have to advertise somewhere? π
Getting there π
Custom dice box for jays new amethyst set with real leather lining.
Havent had much to show lately as I've been busy creating stock to sell but almost done with the first batch along with some new designs. I look forward to showing it off!
Long box with individual dice wells. Very happy with how it came out :)
Long hollow dice box.
Really liking how these dark stains work :)
After much encouragement from friends and family (Thanks!) Ive decided setup an online store and start selling my dice boxes.
I'm currently in the process of setting up listings and producing inventory for sale. I'll be retiring the alias "Deadhead" and will be moving forward with my new store name "High Roller Dice Boxes"
Thanks for all the support everyone! Means so much :)
Amulet of the traveller.
Commissoned by Adric for his present in our DnD game, based of the players patron god "The Traveller".
Modelled off a 2D image that was converted to a 3D mesh then combined. Printed in Copperfil Bronze and tumbled for 12-ish hours and filled with real semi-precious stones.
I love how show shiny metal filled filaments come up after a polish
A video of the snowglobe in action
A custom made snow globe made for Jessas character Raine in our DnD group.
The globe itself was purchased and the models printed on my resin printer with a custom wooden base. It was very challenging to get it completed in time but I am ultimately content with how it came out. Admittedly however there was room from improvement but I don't think its bad for a first go.
Big thanks to adric for painting the model, I know if I had I would have butchered it
Hex dice box birthday gift for Jessa.
Printed with CC DIY wood filament then stained in a black stain and finished with a satin varnish. The small tabs where printed with Form Futura copperfil and tumbled for 12 hours then polished.
Im happy with how it design came out, some minor adjustments are required but I look forward to making more.
Custom box for jays new expensive dice set.
Had to be custom designed to fit the dice as some didn't conform to standard sizes.
Stained with a black stain and then varnished.
New parts for my ender 5.
32-bit Creality board with silent drivers
Metal filament feeder
Bowden tubing
Should make for a very reliable machine!
Custom dice boxes.
Printed on my ender 3 v2 using CC DIY wood pla. Wood filament is 60% wood particles to 40% pla binder. This filament is able to be sanded and stained like regular wood to get a natural texture.
Still working on my staining and varnish technique but I feel like I am making progress. Got plenty of new designs to test too!
School of the wolf witcher medallion.
Printed on my ender 3 v2 with FormFutura bronze filament. Metalfil filament is 80% metal and 20% pla binder. This allows for a metal finish giving the look and feel of metal but being able to print through a standard machine with the correct settings.
This was tumbled overnight and polished. I need to experiment with tumbling media to produce a more even result. Despite this I'm still amazed a sub $400 machine can produce something like this.
Picked up this ender 5 today, Needs some work but will make a great metal filament printer.
No more after this, i could barely find space to fit this one.
The Repentant Magdalene
Test print using my new roll of X3D marble pla filament. Printed at .10mm layer height. Printer Artillery sidewinder X1.
Unfortunately the printer was having issues. Filament was leaking out of the heater block and burning into the print. Took a while to find what was causing it but after 3 ruined hotends its finally working.
Birthday print for Jay. Laocoon and his sons. Printed on an Elegoo Mars Pro Resin printer at .03mm layer height.
I love resin printing for its detail but the amount of supports required for this was staggering. A fews hours where spent sanding and airbrushing it but i think it turned out well.
