Throw back to my younger self.

Many back home know about this picture and how I always make sure they never forget about it.

Ive had many photoshoots but this has to be my favorite of all. I wish to get back into making art this way, it was so fun dressing up and finding my confidence as I grew into womanhood.

My friend Ashley is so talented and we had the most fun together doing this she gets all credit as it was her idea. One day maybe we get to reunite and make art together again. A perfect representation of what was yet to come with all the chaos and darkness within the media. Yet its always been this way.

Us women are dolled up for the world to admire as puppets while so much goes on behind our backs, they use our beauty as distractions….

In our smaller worlds, most of us regular folks do too!

Remember as people abroad, the ones away from our families, anyway you had to move.... we used to have a goal for a better life, but once you get there it changes and forms as a goal to return back to who you once were.

To get back home once the pandemic ends while grandpa is still here, or once I get vacation time next year from my job, or once I have more money, or once I have my papers processed.

It used to be '' once I get this paper stamped in san francisco, once I get the plane tickets, once I sell all of my stuff, once I get married, once I get a job, once I finish my 600 hrs of language classes...''
This can go back and forth like ping pong until you find yourself right in the middle, where we flow. Stop running in circles. Start living today.

Wherever you are right now, is where you are meant to be.

Never stop dreaming of the future, never stop chasing what you love, never stop looking ahead, but also be proud of yourself for what you have done. Don't be sad because the future isn't here, let it motivate you for today. Leave it at that, don't go mad.
