A fantastic weekend sailing at for the 2023 WAIODA State Championship! My first states regatta in open fleet, thanks very much to everyone at Nedlands Yacht Club for hosting such a great weekend and all of the volunteers who helped on and off the water. RPYC Mini Series 2023

Thanks for an epic weekend at the Royal Perth Yacht Club Refined Edge Mini Series! Congratulations on your semi retirement and thanks so much for all of your support Goldy! A big weekend hosting two great sailors from Japan at our home, congratulations Haruya and Taiga on a great weekend of racing! Congratulations to all of the winners. Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association - AOST & AODS Selection 2023

The Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association (AIODA) has finalised its selections for the Australian Optimist Sailing Team (AOST) and Australian Optimist Development Squad (AODS) for 2023.

Sailors qualify for the AOST & AODS from competing at the Australian Optimist Championship.

Murray Duthie and Thomas Cooper have both qualified and been selected for the AOST. They will both attend a training camp in Melbourne during April.

Murray has been selected to compete at the 2023 Optimist World Championship. This prestigious event will be in Costa Brava, Spain in June 2023.

Thomas has qualified to compete at the 2023 Optimist European Championship. This awesome event will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece in July 2023.

Congratulations Murray & Thomas on your AOST selection, what a fantastic opportunity for you both to represent Australia!

Nicholas Cooper and Orlando Ligovich have both been selected for the AODS. A training camp will be held in Sydney during April for both the junior and senior squad.

Nicholas has been selected to sail at the Singapore National Sailing Championship 2023, this event will be in September.

Orlando has been selected to compete at the Eastern Seaboard Regatta in Thailand during October.

Congratulations Nicholas and Orlando on your national selection to join the development squad and the chance to compete at these invitational regattas.

It is wonderful to have WAIODA sailors represented on an international platform. Congratulations Murray, Thomas, Nicholas & Orlando, it is a testament to all of your hard work, commitment and dedication to training.

Warren Jones International Youth Regatta Day 4

The best week ever sailing in the 2023 Warren Jones Regatta, what an unbelievable opportunity!

An awesome week sailing for the first time at the 2023 Musto Optimist National Championships!

We started with teams racing and made it to the semi-finals.

Followed by 5 days of individual racing and qualifying for the gold fleet! The conditions were forever changing. It was great sailing and making friends with kids from around Australia!
