Carolina Bridges Home Health is looking for highly motivated, independent infusion nurses!!!
Position: Infusion RN or LPN
LPN/LVN: Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse or
RN: Licensed Registered Nurse
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients’ homes or alternate infusion site.
• Knowledge of and appropriate application of the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of physicians and pharmacists on the patient plan of care and treatment, communicating status changes and implementing new orders as received.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications with the ability to apply knowledge in the effective use of nursing technology tools to communicate and document care provided.
• May develop plan of care for aides, assign care to aides based on the skills of the aide, and other considerations as determined by the patient’s care needs.
Education
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current, unencumbered NC LPN or RN licensure
Qualifications
• Minimum one year nursing experience with a minimum of one year infusion/IV experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification, or willing to obtain prior to starting employment
• Willing and able to work independently in home or alternate-site settings
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time for business purposes
• Possess a valid driver’s license and show proof of current automobile liability insurance coverage
• Home healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• Must have knowledge of scope of practice for the registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and health aide.
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
