The U.S. Embassy joins the UN Acting Humanitarian Coordinator in strongly condemning the brutal killing of a South Sudanese aid worker in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area on November 6. We also strongly condemn the November 11 attack in Warrap State in which a humanitarian worker was killed. It is the responsibility of South Sudan’s transitional government to establish conditions that ensure the safe provision of humanitarian assistance. We offer our condolences to the families of both victims.

Mr. Aguto Peter is the dynamic Chairperson of YALI RLC EA ALUMNI CHAPTER OF SOUTH SUDAN, He also the Executive Director for Youth Action Network Organization and the chair of the board of directors at Community Empowerment and Resilience Initiative.
Mr. Aguto is pursing bachelor's of law (LLB) but perhaps hold advance certificate in project monitoring and evaluation, certificate in child protection and children's right certificate in Advocacy and leadership, certificate in human resource and certificate in civic engagement leadership.

A Kenya doctor has treated fifty-three children who were tear-gassed by police during the anti-government protest over the rising cost of living in the country.

According to an interview with the BBC,
the doctor said he was compelled to treat the children without asking for money as he couldn’t get over the thought of seeing innocent children who might just die at his watch.
