Shoutout to all my empath sisters and brothers out there! Being an empath is a gift but it definitely comes with some challenges. 😅Let me explain: An empath is someone who has a heightened ability to sense and absorb the emotions, energies, and even physical sensations of others. Unlike people who simply empathize, empaths feel other people’s feelings as if they were their own, often experiencing deep emotional and energetic connections with those around them. This can make them highly intuitive, compassionate, and sensitive to their environment. 🌸Because of this sensitivity, empaths can easily become overwhelmed by the emotions of others or by large crowds. They might struggle to distinguish between their own emotions and those they’ve absorbed from others, making self care and boundary setting essential for their wellbeing! 🙌🏼Because we often experience burnout or emotional exhaustion from taking on too much energy that doesn’t belong to us here are a few simple steps I do to help ground me when I’m feeling overwhelmed-👇🏼✨Downregulation breathwork✨Getting out in nature✨Carrying and wearing crystals- I like citrine, black tourmaline, and lapis lazuli for empaths✨Cleansing your aura and energy field with palo santo or sage ✨White light bubble protection prayer

Sexual trauma can affect the body in a lot of ways, both physically and emotionally. Read the next slides for a more detailed explanation of these effects! 👉🏼

I struggled for a longgggg time with a lot of these effects and had no idea it was directly related to unprocessed s*xual trauma from when I was a child. I just thought I was going insane to be honest and needed to be medicated which in my experience is just a temporary bandaid 🩹 for the deeper issues. I personally struggled with dissociation which turned into a he**in addiction, pain during s*x, feeling very immature in my body, relating s*x to being bad or disgusting, chronic panic attacks, serious digestive issues, endometriosis, always sick, frequent flashbacks during s*x or movies, negative self talk and a distorted view of myself, and the inability to receive love and physical touch. Trauma can manifest itself in the body in so many ways, that’s why it’s so important to process our trauma so we can release it!

Healing from these effects often involves practices like therapy, breathwork, or other somatic practices. If they want to make you the villain in their story for doing what’s best for you, let them. If they want to make fun of you for doing things “outside the norm”, let them. If they want to label you as crazy, let them. If they want to hate, let them. If they want to claim your healing is an inconvenience to them, let them.🫡

All that matters is that you prioritize your wellbeing, lead with love, keep your peace, and remember who the f**k you are! This healing journey isn’t for the weak, so I see you, I am proud of you, I am with you.🙏🏼

Belonging to oneself is a profound journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It means reclaiming your power and trusting in your own worth without needing anyone else to validate you. It’s about honoring your needs, setting boundaries, and accepting yourself fully, flaws and all!

When you belong to yourself, you release the need for external approval. You are your own safe space. 💫

Here’s how to start 👇🏼
✨Listen to Yourself: Tune into your needs and honor them.⁠ Spend time asking yourself each day, “What do I need right now?” Whether is rest, movement, creativity, or solitude try to take the time to honor yourself.

✨Affirmations: Our words are powerful and we believe them to our core. Practice these affirmations daily; “I am deserving of my own love”, “I am my own safe space”, “I know what is best for me”, “I am worthy no matter what”!

✨Set Boundaries: Protect your energy! Don’t be afraid to say no.⁠ It can be extremely empowering and those who truly respect and love you won’t be offended.

✨Breathwork & Meditation: Use these tools to center yourself and reconnect with your inner voice and intuition. Through breath awareness you can come back to your body and create a deeper connection with your true self.

Most ⁠importantly treat yourself with the kindness you deserve! Remember, you are whole and enough exactly as you are. 🥰

Raising your vibration is all about getting your energy to a higher, more positive place. When you do that, life just feels better! Here are some of my fav ways to make it happen:

✨Breathe with Intention: Take a few deep, mindful breaths whenever you need to reset. Inhale good vibes, exhale the BS. It’s a quick and easy way to feel more grounded and balanced.
✨Think Positively: What you focus on grows. So, try to keep your thoughts on things that make you feel good—gratitude, love, and anything that lifts your mood.
✨Get Outside: Fresh air and nature do wonders for your energy. Even a short walk in the park can help clear your mind and raise your vibe. Touching your bare feet to the ground can be very healing.
✨Protect Your Space: Make sure you’re spending time around people and places that lift you up, not drain you. Setting boundaries is key to keeping your energy high.

Small shifts like these can make a big difference in how you feel, helping you move through life with more joy and ease. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The wound is the place where the ✨light✨ enters you 🫶🏼

It’s hard to picture how different my life was 8 years ago… I was at the peak of my he**in addiction. I was a slave to a drug that provided me temporary comfort, and then killed everything I loved in its path including myself. I had no hope, I wanted to die but also wanted to live if that even makes sense, I couldn’t see the light. I was always running, always escaping my trauma, not willing to face and confront my shadows. Not willing to FEEL. The day I died, I was reborn. God has given me a life beyond my wildest dreams. He has shown me what’s possible when we surrender, seek him, and heal. 🙏🏼

There has been many things that have helped me over the past almost 8 years now in my recovery journey, but I will say Breathwork has been the ultimate game changer. I got to about 5 years of sobriety and realized I still had so much trauma I wasn’t willing to face and heal from. It started to affect my marriage, my relationship with myself, and the way I parent. I didn’t like who I was becoming again and that scared me, that’s when I found Brecon and we started my EMDR journey. It took a year of facing and reprocessing all of my trauma to finally feel relief. I was introduced to Breathwork shortly after and my life was catapulted into a different dimension. I realized I had just spent a year reprocessing when I could have spent a few hours in a few Breathwork sessions and had the same result it was crazy to me! I knew I had to learn everything I could about Breathwork so I could give it away. While I will never regret doing EMDR or finding Brecon (because lord knows I’ll see her for the rest of my life 🤪) I will say Breathwork did something for me I didn’t think was possible. It helped me see Little Me and learn to love her unconditionally again, to believe fiercely in myself, and see my worth. So if you haven’t tried it, let me guide you on one of the most profound and epic journeys of your life by just simply using your breath! 🥲

I have learned that the meaning of life is to find your gift and the purpose of life is to give it away. It is my mission to show others what’s possible, we don’t have to live a mediocre life. We have the ability to create a life of magic 🪄we just have to be willing to do the hard, uncomfortable s**t to get there.

I say it all the time because it’s true; we have to FEEL to HEAL. 🤍

When we deny our trauma or suppress our emotions, we block the natural flow of healing. Pretending not to be hurt creates a facade that may protect us temporarily but ultimately prevents us from facing and processing the pain. Healing requires honesty with oneself—a willingness to confront the discomfort, accept the reality of what happened, and move through the emotions rather than bypassing them. Only when we stop pretending and acknowledge our pain can we truly begin the journey of recovery and healing.

Breathwork is an incredible tool to aid in this process because all you have to do is commit to the breathing practice, no words need to be said on your part. You just lay there, breathe, feel, and release while I help and encourage you through the entire process. If talk therapy isn’t your vibe, breathwork might be! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Been busy growing our sweet girl these past few months… 🩷

This pregnancy has not been easy on my body and mind but I’m grateful to announce that I’m finally feeling better/ semi-normal and can’t wait to get back to creating valuable content for you guys! I am still taking online zoom sessions or in person privates, my kids start school next week so I will have a lot of open free time and availability. Can’t wait to connect with youuu 🫶🏼

Let’s talk mirror gazing🪞
Mirror gazing can offer various benefits, such as promoting self-awareness, enhancing self-acceptance, and giving introspection. When we look into a mirror, we confront our own image, allowing us to see ourselves more clearly, both physically and emotionally. The saying “eyes are the windows to the soul” suggests that our eyes reveal our inner thoughts, emotions, and intentions, making mirror gazing a powerful tool for self-reflection and understanding of oneself. We allow ourselves to truly be SEEN. 🫶🏼

Mirror gazing for me is extremely hard and emotional that often ends with me crying 🥲 I’ve been trying to be more intentional when I look at myself in the mirror; what I mean by that is truly pausing and looking into my own eyes and seeing my soul rather than the imperfections on my face or allowing negative self talk to skew my lens. Eye contact with others and with myself has always been a struggle for me so mirror gazing is the perfect exercise for me to practice that. When I truly look into my own eyes I feel seen, and I feel so loved. Have you ever tried mirror gazing!? What are your thoughts on it? 💭

Our breath is everything. Learning to control the breath and utilize it is a super power, it is our life force! ✨

Next time you’re feeling flustered and overwhelmed I want you to pause, and take 3 big deep breaths; inhale through the nose for 4 seconds, hold at the top for 6 seconds, and exhale through the mouth for 8 seconds. This will activate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote relaxation. You will feel your heart rate slow and your entire body relax. It works every time 🙏🏼 save this and try it, let me know how you feel after. 🤍
