Our Chatbot, गोलु , which previously served as a Helpline Chatbot and a buddy-like Chatbot during COVID-19 is still receiving numerous messages from users sharing their life updates, particularly about their mental health concerns. Recognizing this need, we are in the phase of transitioning Golu from COVID-19 Helpline Chatbot to a Mental Health Support Chatbot. Golu is Multilingual, supporting both English and Nepali (in Devanagari & Romanized). Since Golu is in its demo phase, you can share your concerns, and it will provide relevant information and preventive measures for now. Our team is actively working on enhancing Golu's capabilities and soon it will be able to do screenings and offer consultation with mental health professionals.

Before integrating mental health support into गोलु 's page, we are launching the Demo Chatbot on this platform: https://showcase.diyo.ai/golu.html , where you can access Golu for mental health support. The first "AI conference for Prosperous Nepal" was organized by the Ministry of Education of Nepal, Science and Technology (MoEST) with The Asia Foundation, Robotics Association of Nepal [RAN], Frost Digi Ventures, Association of Engineering Colleges of Nepal (AECON) and Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).

Diyo.AI was honored to be a part of this AI conference where we shared insights into our work and vision for the advancement of conversational AI in Nepal. We presented an overview of our work in developing chatbots for businesses, local government, and our Impact Bot which aims to address social issues through chatbots, showcasing the potential of AI in these sectors of Nepal. We also offer our suggestion for the Nepal Government to support tech and AI companies showcasing how forming strategic partnerships between the government and tech companies can drive mutual growth and societal advancement, ultimately fostering a supportive environment for AI innovation and adoption in Nepal.

Local Government chatbot is developed for ललितपुर महानगरपालिका कार्यालय, Lalitpur Metropolitan City Office and बुटवल उप-महानगरपालिका, रुपन्देही, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Rupandehi with theme “Digitization is not enough and we need have intelligent local government”.

Naamii and Diyo.AI in technical partnership with Undp Accelerator Labs has developed this bot to foster e-governance and two-way communication between public and local government.

We are delighted to have shared our chatbot development project at the "Chatbot for effective service delivery: sharing and discussion session" event . We developed a chatbot system using NLP, in collaboration with research from Naamii and technical support from United Nations Development Programme - UNDP. This chatbot has successfully been integrated into the official websites and pages of both Butwal Sub Metropolitan and Lalitpur Metropolitan.
