1. Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your routine. Whether it's practising mindfulness, having a relaxing bath, or indulging in your favourite hobby. Make time for YOU.

2. Being active not only boosts mood, it also manages weight and promotes better sleep. Try to mix cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility exercises to keep your body strong and resilient.

3. Opt for a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Limit caffeine and alcohol, which can exacerbate hormones.

4. Get the support you need, call on your family, friends, and support groups for encouragement and guidance. You don't need to do this on your own!

5. It is said that chronic stress can worsen symptoms, so work on reducing this with some yoga, prayer, or meditation. Whatever works for you, make it part of your regular routine.

6. Discuss with your health practitioner hormone therapy options and explore holistic options.

7. Dress by layers, and use a fan to stay cool. Try to avoid hot flash triggers like spicy foods (if only I could🔥).
