Whichever mask you wear, ensure that:
✔️ It covers your nose and mouth
✔️ The mask fits firmly but is still comfortable against your skin
✔️ There are minimal gaps on the side of the mask
✔️ The mask is tight enough that it does not need frequent repositioning

Any mask is better than NO mask. If a surgical mask is what you have access to absolutely wear it. Surgical masks still offer a minimum 3 layers of protection but remember:
✔️ Surgical masks are non-reusable and have to be changed at minimum daily
✔️Like any mask if they are soiled or dampened in any way you'll need to change them
✔️Surgical masks are non-recyclable so aren't always the most environmentally friendly option

There's a reason surgical masks are sold in bulk. They are designed to be disposable - they can't be cleaned and should not be used for more than a day at maximum and replaced immediately if they get damp or otherwise soiled.
That's not to say they aren't effective but they are designed for single-use.
We've designed our masks to be machine washable, with a pocket that can be used with or without a replaceable filter (of course with offers superior protection). With environmentalists warning of the excess waste of surgical masks, reusable options (whether ours or others) can end up being better on your wallet and easier on the planet.

Most of us were lucky enough we didn't see the worst of the current health pandemic, but many of our frontline workers did.

With one of the largest complaints around masks being that they're unpleasant to wear we set out to design a facemask with comfort in mind that didn't sacrifice function.
Organic bamboo that is breathable and doesn't irritate the skin. This is combined with elasticated lycra straps along with a unique wrap design for maximum protection.
