Hey guys! The exciting news is here! The Elven Corsairs Frontier is rapidly approaching. Launch Day is locked in at August 17th 12:00pm PST! In the lead up to launch I will be posting teasers and snippets of the hundreds of models and dozens of vehicles!

So why am I launching this army on Frontiers instead of Kickstarter, like I have done in the past? I want to use the MMF Frontier's as a space where I can play around with and test out new techniques, themes and design languages that might not fit into a normal ThatEvilOne release. It's all still the same TEO quality and quantity you'd expect from a project of this size, just with the added bonus of a little experimental creativity.

The T-41 Saytr Dropship is the cornerstone of the Marian Reforms. It allows a full Contubernium with Support Personnel to be tactically inserted into a combat zone in relative safety. Packing minimal armaments by default, it can be loaded to preform as CAS after dropping off it's troop compliment with door gunners and wing mounted weapon hardpoints.* It's brutal utilitarian design allows the industries of Rome to produce hundreds of these airships every quarter, the result is that every single Legion can be airborne at a moments notice.

The appetite for base-line humans pitted against each other faded centuries ago. Only to be replaced by purpose built hulking olympians, Demi-gods as over eager Colosseum announcers would say, eager to tear into the multitude of Xenos species of the Galaxy. A display of Humanities supremacy among the stars. Such workmanship and Gene-crafting is put into these Gladiators that even Consuls are known to requisition or even purchase them outright from Dominas to act as penultimate assault troops.

After serving three years Legionaries graduate from the Hastati and join the ranks of the Principe, earning the right to deploy onto the battle field via Grav-Chutes. Unlike the Hastati, who enter the fray via rappelling from low altitude VTOLs, Veterans that join the Principe are expected to leap from their planetary landers in sub orbit in the most extreme form of High-Altitude-Low-Opening jumps possible for baseline humans to undertake.

Hastati are the Line Infantry of the Roman Star Legions. While lacking the Gravchutes of the Veteran Principe they are still are classified as Airborne. Rappeling en masse from hovering VTOLs they are quick to secure their objectives and hold ground.

Been busy since the last bunch of romans.
Starting off with the Triarii Stormtroops who jump into the fray with Shields, Pistols and Demo Charges.
Accompanying them are the Combat Medic, chosen specifically for their bravery and willingness to charge out into enemy fire and drag their fellow legionaries back into cover.
