Getting my parachute mounts designed.

The car is going to be fast.
Installed brake lines this week.
Started installing controller boxes.
Talked to Robb at Chameleon Wraps and picked a color.

So my drivetrain ran into a little problem today.
My drivetrain:
Lonestar 35 spline motor output
35/22 spline dragster coupler by mark Williams
22/35 dragster to ford 9” pinion by mark Williams
Ford 9” Pro 3.50 ring and pinion differential setup supplied through strange engineering?
Strange full spool
Dutchman Axle 35 spline stub axle to Porsche 934 CV hub.
Porsche 934 dutchman Porsche 934 CV joint.
Porsche 934 outer stub axle with 33 splines to 33 spline C7 unit bearing.
And that’s where the problem was today.
Torqued the axle nut down and the wheel stopped spinning. I thought I ruined the bearing. Yikes.
After a few busch lights. I found the problem.

Upgrading from C5 suspension to oversized heavy duty stuff sometimes has some inference you have to contend with.
Cut the little thread intruder off and everything is back to normal.

Finally after four years the first “Extinction Level Event” motor is installed in “Event Horizon”.
It took four hours of precise fitting to get the dragster coupler and the motor to be in perfect alignment for the sixteen screws that hold in place. It’s going to be sweet. Battery split in back and in front. Controllers in old traditional engine bay.
