It's another and our winning tip for today is to draft your essays by hand. We recommend that you write your first draft by hand, and then type up your second one.
This process will help you to acknowledge the gaps in your essay as you transfer your answer from the paper to a laptop.
It's a good way to keep a close eye on common mistakes and be more aware of the drafting process as you write.

With a never-ending list of things to do, play can often get put on the back-burner, yet Science shows that it's just as important as work and study. When you give yourself time to "play" - in other words 'spending time without an objective', you give your brain room to process the information obtained during study, creating space for greater connections and time for the knowledge to sink in.
"Lock up your libraries if you like, but there is no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of the mind." - Virginia Woolf

It's another - how can you stay ahead of the competition in school and at university?
If you find yourself struggling to understand a topic or concept, try APPLYING the knowledge to a situation, e.g. explain the theory/topic to a friend, create a presentation or build/design something using the theory or topic's basic concepts.
You could even write a song or rap about it! When you create something with the knowledge you learn, it forces your brain to make connections with the understanding you already have, helping you to create further connections, deeper understanding and memory that will last.
