People usually see tucans as fruit eating birds but the truth is that they eat other animals as well. They pray upon other bird’s nests and they can even eat sleeping bats like this one! This tucan lives in the Palmari lodge even though its totally free to go around and hunt in the forest. Eventually after some time here I had the chance to spot him eating a bat that he found in a palm tree close to the lodge. Another awesome thing about not working in an office I guess, looking at bizarre behaviors in nature
