On the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, we are reminded of the profound role Mary played in the divine plan of salvation. As the Mother of God, she exemplifies humility, faith, and obedience. Her fiat, her "yes" to God, echoes through the ages as a model for all believers.

In contemplating Mary's unique vocation, we are called to reflect on the beauty of her immaculate heart and her unwavering trust in God's will. Her maternal intercession and love inspire us to draw closer to her Son, Jesus Christ, and to emulate her virtues in our own lives.

As we honor Mary on this solemn occasion, let us offer a prayer of gratitude for her maternal care and seek her intercession for our intentions. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
