The GONG Team ❤️
A few weeks ago we got together for a little photo shoot and team party. It was the first time some of us met each other in person, and yet the bonds among us felt deep — almost like we’ve known each other for centuries. As Carlo put it at the time, “I can feel the LOOVEEEE.”
It’s a huge privilege to work with such a kind, good-natured, talented and dedicated team! Thank you all, and to those who couldn’t make it you are every bit a part of this magic too 💫.
Massive thank you as well to our talented photographer BRENNA DUNCAN] for capturing the magic 📸, and to Sara from for supplying the most gorgeous space 🪴.
We’ll be sharing more in the coming days!

Soundstasis
Most of us have a very special and profound relationship with sound: before we learnt how to control it and shape it through musical instruments, sound and rhythm brought our ancestors together and created a sense of community. The power that music has to touch us on a very deep level is unquestionable: it can uplift our moods when we are sad, it can help us relive past memories or simply comfort us when we need to.
Sound has been used in healing for centuries, from the shamanic traditions of the Native Americans to the Buddhist temples in the Himalayas. The method that I work with draws from all these cultures and was refined over twenty years by BAST (The British Academy Of Sound Therapy).
Most people who have attended a gong bath will talk about the soothing effect that the vibrations of the various instruments had on their bodies. But sound doesn’t simply affect us on a physical level: it can move us emotionally, and spiritually. It has the power to alter our waking consciousness into extra-ordinary states.
There is a growing body of evidence that demonstrates the positive effects to our health and well-being from being in these states for a prolonged amount of time. When we experience such deep relaxation, our bodies activate their natural healing mechanisms and as a result we may feel less anxious and stressed, physical tension and pain may also improve. We may also experience a more profound part of ourselves that goes beyond the boundaries of our egos, bringing wisdom and insight into our current situation.
