Elegant and understated, a pencil portrait has a charm that can not be achieved by any other medium. This lovely lady was such an inspiration. Thank you.

A happy moment shared by a mother and child. The dramatic lighting helps highlight the warm smiles. It was such a pleasure to paint this duo. The little guy especially radiates the exuberance of childhood.

This is the most natural expression of love of a father for his child. A hug that's painted on canvas to preserve this moment forever more.

A snowy morning
Too often we get so caught up in our daily lives to appreciate the gorgeous planet we share. The country side has a very calming effect on the mind and it's proven to have very positive effects on us. The morning is a symbol of a fresh new start and of awakening. The cool colors of snow relax the mind . This oil painting of a snowy morning is for sale.

I love animals. I find them very beautiful and graceful. This beautiful creature was drawn in pastels on textured paper. The paper lent itself beautifully to create the feel of the wolf's thick fur coat. I used white, black and deep brown pastels. The grey of the paper is used as the middle tone

Each person is a wonderful and uniquely intriguing personality waiting to be graced as a work of art. As an artist it's a blessing to have the opportunity to translate this inspiration to canvas. When I paint a portrait I aim to capture not only the physical likeness but also the personality of my subject.

This is a color pencil portrait of my daughter in 2016. Just like kids her age, she is very beautiful but completely oblivious of her own beauty...I've tried to capture her moment of divine.I really enjoyed working on her beautiful hair. I love the way it flows in waves of molten silk.

I took up oil painting after a gap of 14 years and put this painting at the Cypress Autumn Show in 2015. It won Silvia Lippe Award (Best Of The Show). The contemplative pose and the juxtaposition of the white of the dress against the brown of the sofa tends to give this painting a light, airy, and relaxing feel, like a quiet Sunday afternoon.
