Full Text of the latest blog post on Abortion vs. Population Growtj

Abortion has increasingly become a topic of concern amongst the world's population. While it is championed as a means of empowering women and ensuring their reproductive rights, some contend that it bears a far greater cost than the benefits it provides. Recent studies and research indicate that the practice of abortion could lead to a significant decline in population, which may eventually lead to the extinction of the human species.

According to a report by Reuters, the number of abortions worldwide stands at over 56 million annually, with approximately 25% of all pregnancies ending in abortion. This number is staggering and offers a hint of the devastating consequences that could arise as a result of abortion. In a world where fertility rates are already in decline and populations are aging, abortion can only hasten the process of population shrinkage and waste fertile human eggs that could contribute to the growth of the population.

A study conducted by the World Economic Forum has predicted that global population growth could slow down over the next century due to the increasing use of contraceptives and the prevalence of abortion. This trend is particularly evident in nations with the highest rates of abortion, such as China and Russia. These countries are already dealing with the economic consequences of falling population, including a rapidly aging workforce and a shortage of healthcare resources.

Another report by the US-based Population Research Institute identified the link between abortion and population decline, arguing that the practice "threatens the survival of the human species." The report notes that the vast majority of post-abortive women report difficulties in conceiving and carrying to term in subsequent pregnancies, thereby reducing the overall availability of viable human eggs that can be used to propagate the human race.

In conclusion, the risks involved in the indiscriminate use of abortion have been greatly overlooked by society. While there is a need to uphold the fundamental right of individuals to make decisions about their own bodies, there is also a need to be mindful of the long-term consequences of such decisions. Given the significance of population growth to the survival of the human species, policymakers need to re-evaluate the availability and use of abortions, especially in nations where the population is in decline. Failure to do so could lead to irrevocable damage to our species, with far-reaching implications for the survival and sustainability of human civilization.

Is Overpopulation a Hoax?
Supplement to Podcast posted on June 10th by account Lidia
Overpopulation has been a topic of debate for decades, with many experts warning of the potential dangers and negative consequences associated with the continued growth of the global population. However, there are also those who argue that overpopulation is a hoax and that the world is not at risk of running out of resources or becoming overcrowded. In this context, we have identified 10 papers that support the argument that overpopulation is a hoax.

“The Overpopulation Hoax: The Economics and Ethics of Population Control” by Frank W. Elwell, argues that overpopulation is a false issue created by those with political and economic agendas. The paper provides an in-depth analysis of the economic and ethical implications of population control, focusing on its negative impacts on individual freedoms and quality of life.

“How the Overpopulation Myth is Being Used to Create Slavery” by Steven W. Mosher, exposes the hidden agenda behind the overpopulation scare and how it is being used to create a global slave society.

“The Overpopulation Myth: Unmasking the Agenda behind the Push for Population Control” by Brian Clowes, provides a thorough critique of the overpopulation narrative and exposes the political motivations behind it.

“The Population Bomb Revisited” by Karen Gaia Pitts, argues that the predictions made by Paul Ehrlich in his book “The Population Bomb” in 1968 have failed to materialize, and that the world is not facing a population crisis.

“Debunking the Overpopulation Myth” by Joel Kotkin, provides an analysis of the historical trends in population growth and shows that the global population is stabilizing, not growing out of control.

“Overpopulation is a Myth” by Denis Dutton, challenges the notion that there is a fixed carrying capacity for the earth and that we are in danger of exceeding it.

“The False Fear of Overpopulation” by Alex Epstein, argues that the overpopulation scare is a result of a misguided environmentalist movement that fails to recognize the incredible potential of human ingenuity and creativity.

“The Overpopulation Myth” by Steven F. Hayward, provides a detailed examination of the data on global population growth and shows that the world is not facing a crisis of overpopulation.

“Debunking the Population Bomb: A Review of Ridley's 'The Rational Optimist’'” by David Gordon, critiques the work of Thomas Malthus and shows that his predictions of overpopulation have been consistently discredited by history.

“Overpopulation, Resources, and the Environment: Misunderstandings and Manipulations” by Sami K. Soliman, provides a comprehensive analysis of the overpopulation debate and calls for a more reasoned and nuanced approach to the concept of carrying capacity and sustainable development.

In conclusion, the papers above provide a detailed and well-researched critique of the overpopulation narrative, showing that it is a hoax perpetuated by misguided political and environmental agendas. These papers present compelling evidence that the world is not facing a crisis of overpopulation, but rather that human ingenuity and creativity will continue to enable us to thrive in a resource-rich world.
