Tabitha also conducts one-on-one consultations, virtual seminars to women’s groups,
small business owners and recently introduced, “Financial Family Reunions” where she educates members of families via webinar on how to build wealth within the family unit and leave a legacy which is of critical concern in communities of color.

AMONAPN is beyond excited to see SOOOO many agency owners of color and nannies of color in attendance at our industries most recent professional development conferences.

Did you know? The Alliance of Minority Owned Nanny Agencies & Professional Nannies (AMONAPN) was a Nannypalooza workshop sponsor?

We also advertised in the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA) Conference program to further spread our name and visibility. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Guess what?! History was made at this year’s APNA conference. Since APNA’s inception 29 years ago, this year had the highest number of minorities in attendance!

Let’s continue to professionally empower and support one
another in order to reach a higher level. There’s room enough for everyone at the table!

Nanny Care Hub is offering a great opportunity for every nanny to purchase the 2022 A to Z Nanny Contract at 50% OFF!
Here is an inexpensive way to advocate for and protect yourself on your job.
Make an investment in your nanny career by having a legal contract template in your 'business tool box.'

FLASH SALE The A to Z Nanny Contract is 50% off until Sunday at midnight. The share contract is currently being updated and will be available August 28th. You can grab a copy at 50% this weekend and download the updated version in two weeks. NOTE: You must download the contract within the next year, however you’re able to use it past that date with multiple families.

A to Z Nanny Contract https://atoznannycontract.com/product/2022-a-to-z-nanny-contract/
A to Z Nanny Share Contract https://atoznannycontract.com/product/2022-a-to-z-nanny-share-contract/

Why the unexpected sale on a product I rarely put on sale? I spent 45 minutes this afternoon talking with a nanny who was distraught over her job situation. She quit her job, gave the 8 weeks notice the family asked for, they found a new nanny in 2 weeks, and today she found out she was working her last day. She also found out that her contract did not protect her in this situation. She’s out of a job with no notice and no severance. Sadly, I couldn’t offer any help. She accepted a bare bones contract when she started 18 months ago because she didn’t want to rock the boat and press for more and she genuinely didn’t think this would happen to her. It did. It happens to countless nannies who think it will never happen to them. I cannot say it often enough or loudly enough: just having a contract isn’t enough. Your contract has to be comprehensive, clear, detailed, and legally accurate. The A to Z Nanny Contract offers the scripting you need to outline fair employment terms including a separation (quitting or being fired) agreement. Always protect yourself.

True empowerment comes when we apply the language of alignment opposed to division.

Stay amazing!

28/02/2022

Today marks the last calendar day of Black History Month, but it's truly only the beginning to what lies ahead.

We're taking a moment to recognize a couple of game-changers, and recent historical moments within the AMONAPN community.

Stephanie Bauchum: Nanny Agency Owner - Former Nanny - Nanny Tees Founder - Nanny Agency School Founder - AMONAPN Board Member - Forbes Next 1000 Honoree

December 15, 2021 Forbes announced the final installment of 250 entrepreneurs on the Forbes Next 1000, a list of inspiring entrepreneurs and small business leaders—many from diverse, underrepresented communities—who are redefining what it means to build and run a business amid the new normal.

Erika Slade: Nanny Agency Owner - Former Nanny - Educator Extraordinaire - Business Consultant - APNA Board Member - AMONAPN Supporter - Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Graduate

December 16, 2021, Erika graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
The intense program is for established small businesses that link learning to action. Through the program, participants gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing and employee management. A GS 10k graduate becomes skilled on how to work ON their businesses instead of working IN their businesses.

June 19, 2021: The Alliance of Minority Owned Nanny Agencies & Professional Nannies (AMONAPN) is established.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
the Alliance of Minority Owned Nanny Agencies & Professional Nannies (AMONAPN) acknowledges the unique issues of Black and Brown individuals within the nanny and domestic staffing field. Whilst the objective is not to disassociate from other industry organizations, AMONAPN’s vision is to foster a safe, non-discriminatory space where agency owners and nannies of color can come out of the 'shadows' in order to excel.

Photos from Alliance of Minority Owned Nanny Agencies & Professional Nannies-AMONAPN's post 17/02/2022

AMONAPN is continuing its commitment during this month of Black History (and love) of highlighting the untold and often forgotten stories of Domestic Staff through the eyes of African-Americans.

This history was so eloquently curated by University Associate Professor of American and African American Studies, Emory University,
Dr. Kimberly Wallace-Sanders, in her powerful exhibit,
'FRAMING SHADOWS - PORTRAITS OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN NANNIES.' The exhibit is also a prelude to her book 'Mammy: A Century of Race, Gender and Southern Memory.'

AMONAPN sincerely thanks Dr. Kimberly Wallace-Sanders for prompting us to give a voice to these Domestic Staff s/HERO's that were often left in the shadows.
