Dran's Bakeshop
Home based bakery serving Austin, Texas. Custom cakes, art, pastries, and more are available
Hello friends!
Do y'all know anyone that works in a bakery or coffee shop in Austin that would be open to answering some interview questions? Or do you work in a bakery/coffee shop in Austin and would be willing to answer some questions?
I'm working with Future Bakery Cooperative to complete a marketing analysis.
We're trying see how feasible it is to create a bakery from the ground up. We're just trying to gather data so we can potentially answer our question: Can we really pull this off?
If you're able to answer any of the below, it would be much appreciated.
If you complete an interview with me I will literally send you $10 ππππ
Questions can be answered via text, messenger, email, on the phone, or whatever works best for you.

Pupcakes for baby Rennie πΆπ©·
Thank you for requesting these, they were so much fun!
Ingredients:
Pupcake - oat flour, baking soda, a bit of honey, egg, olive oil, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, bone broth
Frosting - potato, Greek yogurt, bone broth, peanut butter, strawberry, coconut flour
Topped with a milk bone treat. π§
If you'd like some pup treats, dm me so we can either barter, or just do a regular payment/payment plan!
I've spent a lot of time learning to decorate cakes and make pastries.
I'm no longer in this profession, and I'm trying to regain a love for baking again. It's hard when you did it not as a hobby, but as a way to make a living.
It's a slow process. I only bake things here and there. I try to focus on quality ingredients, sugar free/refined sugar free baked goods, and I only make things I ABSOLUTELY want to make.
I recently opened up to the idea of bartering. Trading goods and services for other goods and services.
A mutual exchange that both parties agree upon.
If you'd ever be open to barter/trade for some baked goods, dog treats, fake cake art, or just regular art, send me a dm.
Things I'd love in exchange are: art, plants/herbs/teas, good meals, other baked goods, tattoos, cute earrings, etc. Send me a dm and we'll possibly figure it out.

Year Round Yule Logsβ’ ??!!!
I just think log cakes are too cool to only have around the holidays.
Anyways, pick your flavors, your favorite tree, your favorite mushrooms, maybe some little critters, a fairy door or something, and get yourself a log cake for any occasion (not just the holidays). π₯
This is my life now
The orders I realllyyyy want to do are
1. Tree/nature cakes
2. Anime cakes
3. Cottagecore/vintage cakes
4. Abstract painted cakes
5. Stuff with detailed buttercream work
The vibes are always just 10/10 when working in these areas π₯π₯π₯π₯
I made these bad boys at work!!
This aspe tree yule log reminds of White River National Forest!
If you know me you know I'm a huge fan of all kinds of trees.
My favorite tree is an oak, but aspen trees are definitely a close second. Their "eyes" seem to watch over everything in the forest ποΈ
This was an Aspen log with Italian buttercream!
Last day to place Christmas orders is December 17th!
I can make cakes, cupcakes, yule logs, and more! They can be picked up or delivered (in Austin or Cedar Park) on or before the 24th.
I decorated this cake today at work π²π
Quilt Cake!!
This was in buttercream! Though it would probably look much cleaner in royal icing or fondant, I still like the way it turned out. π
The grandma inside of me is a big fan of this concept π§π
This cake looks vintage and I kinda dig it.
It has paisley lace drawn on, and this pink is one of my favs.
The customer and I came up with a custom design, and I hope they like it!
