A group of our outstanding Second Nature Brands employees helped plant 25 trees in o(MCPED) for helping to organize this planting and for helping us towards our goal to plant one million trees over the next five years.

Yesterday, our valued employees helped plant 50 trees in the Village of Armada damaged by this summer's EF1 tornado.

"When we saw the trees damaged by the tornado in Armada, we knew we needed to help," said Victor Mehren, CEO of Second Nature Brands. "Trees are vital to community health and core to our vision to make things better by nourishing people and nature. We hope the replanting of trees in Armada will contribute to the healing process in this great community."

We want to thank Macomb County Planning & Economic Development (MCPED), ReLeaf Michigan, Michigan Department of Natural Resources - Forestry division, and the Village of Armada for helping to organize and volunteer for this event.

Trees planted at this event will help Second Nature Brands meet its goal of planting one million trees over the next five years.

Today, we officially opened the all-new Second Nature Brands Innovation Center at our Sander’s Clinton Township, Michigan location.

The Center's opening means so much to our company. Innovation has been part of our DNA for more than 100 years. We now have a new state-of-the-art lab and consumer testing facility to further accelerate our product development process for our leading brands, Kar's Nuts, Second Nature Snacks, and Sanders.

The Second Nature Brands Innovation Center will be home to our team of diverse and experienced food scientists who are focused on developing innovative snacks and treats products in the growing Better-for-You and Permissible Indulgence spaces. The Center will also provide a space to collaborate with the company’s retail customer partners on developing new products that fulfill emerging market needs.
